I glanced at my watch and let out a sigh. It has been two hours since he dropped me off at the motel. I hoped he wasn't lingering around the motel at this time. I can't leave this city if he is here. He wouldn't let me leave for sure. I packed my belongings and waited for a few more minutes. My heart raced against my chest. I wasn't sure if it was because of the adrenaline kicking in for what I am about to do. It was a nice place to live, though. Shame that I can't spend some good time here. I sighed again and took my bags in my hand, and walked out of the motel room, taking the stairs down as the elevator wouldn't be operating at this time of the night.
