It has been two days since Nolan left the pack to attend that diplomatic meeting or whatever he calls it. He had taken Dylan along with him, so Suzanne kept me company while Nolan was away.
Well, for the half of the day, that is.
I was mostly in my room, well, in Nolan's room, to be precise. Since I was not allowed to wander around the pack or the city without a guard or until Nolan returns, I preferred staying here and making an investment here and there.
I didn't feel like going out with someone watching me at all times.
I didn't think I would actually miss Nolan's presence around here, but it came as a surprise to me when it I did. Maybe it was because of him I was here in the first place. That reason seemed not logical even to me, but I stuck with it.
