After work on Wednesday, I took a taxi to the town park. This morning I had been bubbly and confident. Edward had given me a kiss and had told me to call him if I needed anything when I had explained I was meeting up with Wayne after I had ended my call with him on Sunday. However, I lost my confidence as the taxi got closer and closer to the park. When I got down, I had contemplated leaving if I didn't see Wayne in the next fifteen minutes, but he did appear within the time frame. He walked over to me from behind, tapping my shoulder and making me turn on my hills to stare into his eyes. "You made it," he said, smiling at me. I nodded, looking from him to the small child that was sticking close to him. "Minnie," Wayne said, making me look from the kid to him. "She's staying with me for
