ARIEL’S POV I had made the house a little bit uncomfortable for Davis. It was silent, but I was certain that he couldn’t bear the silent treatment that I was giving to him. Severally, he had tried to speak to me, but I refused to give him the chance, not because I didn’t see the fact that he was truly remorseful, but because I didn’t think I was ready to have that discussion with him.
