We arrived back at the packhouse, and everyone was waiting for us on the top step.
As we stop, Rex climbs out and walks around to open the door for me as I climb out with my sleeping mate in my arms and carry her through the packhouse.
As we get to the top steps, “I made a room up on your floor for her, as mum told me too,” says Daisy, looking towards Brooke.
I smiled. “Thank you, show me which one.”
Daisy looks away from Brooke and takes the lead, and I follow her.
We get to my floor, and Daisy points to the door that she has set Brooke up in, and I can’t help but smile. She picked the room that joined my room.
Daisy opens the door, and I walk in. Daisy moves to the bed and pulls the blankets back as I place her down on the bed. I moved the blankets back into place over her,
