Josh POV I got back to the pack house and made my way to the hospital. I was exhausted and feeling grim, but wanted to check on Jess. I was also concerned for how Sam was taking the news, about werewolves. She saw a lot today and I can imagine that she will have a lot of questions for me. When I reached the building, my wolf was acting anxious. He wouldn’t stop whining, but a different whine, not the grieving kind. I walked inside the building and made my way down the hall past the receptionist. All of a sudden, it hit me, the most intoxicating smell. It smelt like vanilla and coffee and it made my mouth salivate. Where is that smell coming from, I wondered? I followed it to one of the examination rooms and threw the door open with so much force, that it hit the wall and cracked it.
