CHAPTER 3 – The Fulfilment of the Agreement

I

King Valdimir summoned her daughter to visit him while he was sitting on his throne. He needs to be in his throne when telling his daughter of his decision to get her married to Kronos. It would be considered as the King’s command and not like a father’s wish for her only daughter; hence she has no right in any way to refuse.

“Your Highness, I was told by your right hand man that you have summoned me to visit you here.” The beautiful young princess vowed her head in front of her father, King Valdimir.

“Yes Princess Adrijana. I summoned you to tell you that during the time that you were so ill, I made an agreement with Kronos that if he will cure you, you will marry him and I will have a truce with his King father of Barbador. I am therefore commanding you to marry Kronos three days from now.” King Valdimir put his right hand up on the Princess’ head. It was a sign that the King has blessed her daughter on the said marriage.

Princess Adrijana looked at her father and smiled sweetly, “My King Father, who am I to refuse? Your will is my command.”

King Valdimir was surprised. He thought he would be getting a violent reaction from his daughter. It was also the reason why he used his position as the King to command her because he knows her well. Her daughter never wants to be commanded nor be forced on something she does not like. Hmm, it means the Princess likes Kronos after all; the King smiled secretly while looking at her daughter who is still in her vowed head.

King Valdimir also summoned Kronos. As the young doctor came, the King said, “You cured my daughter Kronos. I am a King with honor, I am giving you the hands of my daughter as your wife, three days from now. Tell me if you refused, your decision is mine to take.”

Dr. Gregory vowed his head and spoke gently, “Thank you King Valdimir of Macedonia, I am here to take what we have agreed. I will marry your daughter, Princess Adrijana not for anything else, but because of love. I have fallen in love with her the moment I set eyes on her.”

A smile slowly formed in the King’s lips. He did not mistakenly choose this man to be her only daughter’s other half. “Very well said, young man Kronos.”

“Your Highness, if you may, I am earnestly requesting that I would be known here as Dr. Gregory and not Kronos. Curing the sick is my passion instead of taking arms against enemies.”

King Valdimir’s smile grew wider. This young man is slowly gaining his admiration. It will not be so hard for him to crown him as the new Prince of Macedonia.

II

The wedding took place after three days. The Princess looks more beautiful in her white wedding gown and princess’ crown. Dr. Gregory is wearing a Prince’s Style Clothing. They looked like a perfect couple.

King Varbango of Barbador is present during the wedding ceremony of his illegitimate son “Kronos”. Even without him saying it, he felt so proud for his son, who brought him more prestige and alliance now, instead of an enemy.

All other Kings and Queens, Prince and Princesses and other high officials of each Kingdom are present in the wedding ceremony called by many as the marriage after Princess Adrijana’s second life.

Dr. Gregory cannot take his eyes away from his bride. She is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen since his birth. No woman he met in the Philippines can be compared to her beauty. He is always mesmerized every time she looks at her and he could not believe until now that a few minutes from now, she will be declared by the Kings of Macedonia and Barbador as his wife.

Princess Adrijana would sometimes stare at Dr. Gregory and will blush upon seeing that he is carefully watching her. She can feel his eyes all over her. This man seems too possessive. Why would he not leave his eyes out of her? She cannot move peacefully as her heart is beating so fast.

On their wedding night, the Princess felt so shy. This is the first time that she will be sleeping with a man beside her. 

“Err, Dr. Gregory, I mean husband, would you leave me please in a moment?” She nervously looked at the man whose sparkle in his eyes since their wedding ceremony was not leaving him. 

“Should I take that as an order from the Princess or a request from my wife?” Dr. Gregory slowly walked towards his newly wedded wife.

As he reached the Princess’ hands and kissed them, he smiled and asked once again, “Would you still want me to leave my wife?”

Princess Adrijana just blushed and could not speak any word. She looked at the man, who is now her husband and she gasped for breath. She really likes his features. She is always drawn to his eyes and red lips. She closed her eyes and smiled.

It was a sign for Dr. Gregory that the Princess does not want him to leave anymore. He gently embraced her and kissed her on her waiting lips.

As Dr. Gregory carried Princess Adrijana to their soft King size bed, Princess Adrijana opened her eyes and playfully touched her husband’s nose. Dr. Gregory softly laughed and tried to catch her fingers with his mouth. They were laughing when they both settled on the bed; eyes locked with each other.

As Dr. Gregory started to caress the Princess, she stiffened. Dr. Gregory felt that so he gently kissed her again while caressing her breasts. He slowly unzipped her wedding dress and the moment he saw her whole body unclothe; his manhood slowly rise to stardom. He immediately removed his clothing and joined his wife again on the bed. Thereafter, what can be heard in the room are moaning and whispers of the newlywed couple.

Just a week after the wedding of Dr. Gregory and Princess Adrijana, the Kingdom of Macedonia received information that some people in the palace are starting to get ill. The symptoms are similar to that of Princess Adrijana’s prior illness. 

Dr. Gregory became worried. Based on his experience during his times in the Philippines as a doctor, dengue can easily spread and in a flash could make all living humans in one place become ill, if the cause of the said virus would not be immediately eradicated or controlled. 

As the new crowned Prince, he will lead to curtail this illness that may cause a pandemic, an apocalypse so to speak, that may erase in this world all the living humans in Macedonia and nearby Kingdoms.
