Chapter 8 The sleek black S Class Mercedes moved slowly up the ramped car park levels to the top and pulled into a free space. The cityscape view of Hammersmith shimmered under a threatening dark sky and the patter of heavy raindrops began to rap on the windscreen until a downpour opened up and the city lights blurred into abstract shapes through the glass.
