Chapter 20 Sarah Edwards glanced at her digital watch once again and drained a glass of soda water. The evening was turning to night and would, no doubt, be another restless one. She had been living in the hotel room for nearly a month now, rarely leaving the confines of her four walls or the hotel grounds as she played the waiting game. Where was her contact? They were supposed to rendezvous with her a week ago and no messages had been sent whatsoever. This was deeply worrying. What worried her, even more, was that everything she was risking might well be for nothing. The ceiling fan spun listlessly at low speed, barely keeping the humidity at bay but apart from complaining again, she would have to live with it. She had chosen the small, discreet hotel long before disappearing to Cuba
