A complicated silence fell as the gate guards recognized Justin. I could tell they knew who he was within moments and then I shivered hard from the fear they would take him away to be chained up again.
Whispers came from all around as people recognized the last Lycan had returned to Lone Wolf Estate.
"The last Lycan!" said several voices at once.
An older she-wolf said, "He's crazy isn't he? Why isn't he in chains?"
