He gentlemanly picked the flares of my dress that was sweeping the ground few seconds ago after he opened the freaking Audi's shinning black door to let me in, he had no idea how I shivered watching my own leg show up through the parting of the dress but he proved me wrong by glancing me and passing his lips shut and giving a appreciating smile.

I looked down and tried to make myself comfortable with the uncomfortable surrounding or to be exact, people.

He walked and sat beside me slipping in from the other side of the door. My side view gave me the look on his face. A light smile was dancing on them as they twitched and turned towards me. I went little down to look at his perfect fitting black formals.

Should I properly watch him?

Will it look so.. desperate?

I mechanically turned my head on the other side thinking it was he who asked for a date, not me.

Car was pulling away from my lanes and it went to become so awkward to me.

My boss?

I mean boss..

I wanted to clutch the lock on my head and pull it but I wasn't going to show I was pure mad girl.

" You are looking gorgeous Arshita! " I heard his miraculously musical voice that strangely trembled my ears for a second.

I looked at him, meeting his shinning brown orbs when he added " Really very gorgeous! "

We shared a eye to eye look for so long and it was him who said it again to make it more awkward," With that pink thing in your cheeks you make it hard to prop anymore words to praise it!"

I gulped looking away and nervously moving on my seat. What was I supposed to say to that?

Thank you? No.

Normal people do such stuff and I am sure I'm a freak!

" You should get comfortable with compliments! " he said and I watched the space with the sarcastic look.

It wasn't compliment at all. Appropriate word was flattery.

" Thank you so much sir! " I said to him.

" Well for now leave that reference when I am being so friendly with you." He chuckled and I furrowed my brows together.

" You are still my boss." I said it anyway.

" Remember we are on a date? " He amazed me and I dumb watched him as if I had no idea of something like this.

I shook my head muttering," Dinner date! "

" Yeah! " He encouraged and I returned the kind smile succeeding the long silence. I knew how much he try to make it normal for me, it wasn't going to be normal at all due to the several valid points, one him being my boss.

" Why would you want this? " I asked him hesitating a lot. He after giving a warm smile he stated it as easily as one would talk about movies.

" Because I like you. " With this he waited for me to respond. After a long time I met someone thus straight from the beginning. Wasn't it why i was attracted towards Ronit?

F**k that guy!

Oh I am learning to curse that man!

" Oh! " I began not knowing what to say but he kept gazing me for more so I added," I don't know what I have to say to this. It's so.. awkward. "

He laughed a bit then said," It's not but you are making it and you know you don't have to say anything that you don't feel but the truth. "

He said and watched me. I shook my head and looked away. Rest of the drive we didn't talk much then.

As the car came to the halt, he got out of it to open the door for me. I put my leg down sensing the bizarre feeling as he watched my legs with desire in them. I didn't flinch this time and let it go to effect me.



I watched him from top to toe in that classy and tight outfits which was formal yet looked informal. Whatever that but I knew j was overdressed and the overwhelmed me.

Calm down!

He likes me.

I reminded myself when he whispered softly in my ear, "No that you already stepped in, try to make it happening."

He grabbed my hand and wrapped it around his arm like a couple would as we walked towards the big building with lights. For a moment I forgot that I was his employee and began feeling the things that were arranged for me.

" We will eat here? " I said watching the huge hall, heavily decorated as if some festival was so near. I never went to this kind of place before and now I was going to dine with the man who was stranger to me. If this wasn't much but the fact that I enjoyed holding his arm and walking beside him making it more bizarre, was for sure.

" Of course! " He said quite proud of it. I looked at his shinning face that spoke lot of confidence. His eyes trained ahead to lead me to the destined table.

" I am enjoying it in case you wanna know! " He said still looking ahead.

At first I thought he meant all of this but the expression on his handsome face told me different story. He was enjoying me stare him, no ogle at him.

I gulped shutting my eyes because I knew I was looking extremely awkward in the expression I held so I concentrated on what was actually coming. He pulled the chair for me while I went on looking around me. The big Hall was empty except us. It was so awkward to be treated like this from a man who didn't know me at all.

I turned to his glorious face and as our eyes matched my eyes made circles inside it's socket.

Oh crap!

"I chose this small table intentionally. I am not the kind of person who wouldn't talk while eating when he has a beautiful lady before him. " He said leaning towards me and that's when this thing even hit my head. He made me think as if we were sitting so close when we were not.

I laughed awkwardly making sounds like," Hmm... Hm.. Ha.. " tapping my heels under the table to which he gave me his toothy smile.

Then we looked at each other for long and then I almost ended up making the fool of myself," Can we start dining? "

It sounded like I was dying to eat but all I wanted was to end the uncanny silence.

" Yeah sure Arshita! " He said before raising his hands with the fore finger pointing out which moved side to side. Just after a second a man, probably manager appeared dressed in his black formal and greeted us. Another man wearing the white glove placed the menu from behind making me jerk back.

"You first. " He said pointing the menu. I picked mine and began reading the names of the dishes for the first time in my life.

Where is normal Chinese or Indian food in here?!

I thought biting my lips as I glanced him watching me intently.

"I would like best of your Indian food, " I said as I closed the menu and placed my hands upon it. I was nervous to even think of any other dishes.

He smiled and trained, opened his menu and scanned it before elegantly speaking, "Broccoli,babycorn pasta salad and sausage and potatoe casserole for both of us plus hers best of your Indian food for me."

I frowned at him and he explained laughing a bit , "I think I can eat all of that."

"Okay. " I said and looked down.

" You were not like this before, so nervous and solent and... sad. You looked very happy and.. Lively. " He said after a while horrifying me.

" You didn't know me before, right? " I asked him instead and he laughed scratching his chin and checking me out differently.

" I know you now, right? " He crossed me and I just sat there silent which was followed thereafter.

Our food came and I watched the colourful thing placed before me. Picking up my fork neatly placed on the table just beside my plate, I murdered the green leafy thing and put that into my mouth.

It sucks! Where is my spicy as nd heavenly thing?

At the corner was kept my food that k recognised and loved, so I extended my hands for it but stopped when two other hands came to help me with it.

I chewed my fabulous rice as I watched his hands lazily move to his mouth but the eyes were attentive towards me. Cringing, I found myself getting smaller to hide myself from him. With this the worst that could happen, actually happened with me as I fidgeted enough to pull my own plate upon my lap.

"Oh s**t! " I blurted as I hurriedly stood up to make additional noises of the chair and glass plate hitting the floor and scattering the material in it.

My mouth fell open watching the mess and I don't know how long I stood there like a statue cursing myself, before the loud cackles pulled me back.

Of course it was him.

I glanced up, almost crying I'm my own tyranny when he stared me for a while and said, "You look so cuuuute."

His amused eyes didn't leave mine as he hurried to me, crushing the fabulous rice beneath his feet though he tried hard not to.

"It's okay. You can seriously close your sexy mouth and chill. " He whispered passing me his handkerchief.

"You need to clean up! " He said pointing my cloth. I looked down to find the extra red patches on my red gown.

It was embarrassing, really very embarrassing and I couldn't meet his eyes. With my trembling facade, I cried," I want to go. "

I don't know why my eyes got teary and I sniffed to take back the sobs but I couldn't. I rubbed my eyes before holding the flares of my dress and began to walk away.

" Hey! I am sorry I laughed. I am really very sorry. " He said coming before me. I ignored him and walked ahead.

He followed me out. As I stepped out of the main door that same black car stood before me and the car door was opened. Hesitating a bit, I still slipped inside the car.

After he was seated next to me, the car pulled off and it became hard to sit in the same car beside him.

"Are you angry with me? " He said to me and I shook my head.

I was angry at myself fir being such a fool to embarrass people around me. It wasn't the first time that something like this happened to me, it was very common for me to have created a ruckus except that it didn't bother me earlier. I used to sit on the table in public places, threw sarcastic remarks to mean people and cracked jokes which embarrassed Ronit and when he left me saying that I was nuts and embarrass him, I changed myself. And it happened again to remind me of that.

I glanced the person sitting next to me who too was embarrassed by me. I went on looking down but he caught my chin to look at him and said," It was okay but it wouldn't have been okay if everything went normal. I just love madness. "

My brows furrowed and all I waned to do was laugh at him.

Who would want to have a girl who goes on creating messes?

Noone.

" You be you! " He said next amazing me a bit.

Be me?

I stared his strange smile in his face. He returned the look by shaking his head with his fingers pointing out and palms down shaking too. it was that madly done the way I used to do it to irritate people after creating the so called 'embarrassing situation'

" Don't you do this anymore? I mean I saw you do this to my dad's back you know! " He chuckled.

What?

Going uneasy on my chair, I looked around me nervously. Closed door made me nervous and I desperately wanted to run away from him.

He definitely know me from before.

I looked at him, gulping the uneasiness praying that it end soon.
