Chapter - 7

It was a good start as his personal assistant and I was so happy to get his mind blowing compliments all the time. What spoke more was his amazing and handsome face with the glinting smile.

Half of the day already went away and I hadn't sat on my chair in the extravagant office of mine. I took elevator to get to my office. I weakly walked to my office glancing him through the glass door. He was sitting in his chair doing his work as always.

I entered my office taking in the beauty and expensive look of the room. The book shelf was having few books and I had nothing to fill them. The small couch with the transparent glass table in front of it was placed on the one side. I noted the the carton placed on the corner. It was the one consisting my love notes for stupid Ronit. Oh god! I didn't even knew to curse that bastard. Here I go now.

I stepped ahead and sat on my chair feeling the soft material beneath see. I swirled on my chair and "Whooohoo" was what I did. I was so stupid that one time I found myself crying my heart out in a dark room whole night and then doing this s**t.

I stood up the next moment and ran toward the carton. I opened it and without giving another glance, started to stuff them in the drawer on the other side of the table.

I was done, perfectly done but now I was looking at the closed drawer itching to open those s**t and read them again. I was cursing myself for being such a lower but after all of thoughts I wanted to see again.

His lovely words surrounded me and I could feel his hugs and touch. How badly he used to kiss me and then we would do it. He would topple me up and I would ride on him. I gulped at my dirty thoughts which made me blush at that times. But now I curse myself for giving him my everything. He used me and then threw me away.

I was about to cry and so I wiped my tears when a hand on my shoulder made me freak out. I turned to find his handsome look at me in awe.

He didn't knock! He barged in my room! He touched me!

He may be boss but he must knock I think. "Which world you always go to? I am deeply excited to visit that because is that more beautiful than this that you can't hear the knocks and then calls?" He asked me.

"I can't teleport sir! " My confident face turned into a stupid one and he watched me like hell.

" From the first time I have seen you go somewhere else in the different world. Why do you always have to think so much? " I know he remembered the elevator one as our first meet.

" Next I saw you in the elevator lot more confident and different. Be like that! " He said as he went through the newspaper placed on my table.

" You remember? " I blurted in surprise and he chuckled.

" Look at you! Why you gotta be so shocked Arshita? After all you are a beautiful woman except that your cat like eyes were so sad, drooping and your face spoke of loneliness and hurt. " He said each of his words sound differently. Some pulling long, some short or some emphasizing.

I watched his beautiful face saying the truth. I was really hurt and on my own stupid world that day because I just faced the utter loneliness looking at the married couple. They were my friends still I felt bad.

"Boyfriend? " He asked me leaning on the table when I finally noticed he had a file in his hands.

I shook my head in denial. I couldn't have told him my personal matter. He was my boss first and I didn't know him.

" Of course you don't have boyfriend and that's why you think of his treachery all the time. " He emphasized treachery looking down and I couldn't comprehend what actually what he wanted.

" I think of him. " I said the truth looking down in shame. Ronit was on my blood and I always thought of the good times not how he betrayed me.

" Then you must stop this instant. One who leaves you knowing how much you loved them don't deserve attention and care. Leave your past and live in the present! "

He said again in his seductive voice and fell for his each words imagining if Ronit had been like this man to know me without even talking.

" Thank you! " I said and smiled at him.

He gave me his glorious smile making my heart go pitter-patter. " Beautiful and talented woman like you don't need to wait for someone who doesn't value you. You did the great job today. I am impressed! " He came and stood before me so I could see his brown orb glisten. Was he attracted to me? I had the vibes.

"Thank you! " I said in my exaggerated stature and he went on gazing my eyes and my lips.

"You are most welcome! " He said still staring the s**t out of me and I couldn't think of way get him act normal.

"You need anything sir? " I asked him burning with shyness.

"Yeah! I want all the filing arranged in cabinet and there will be my sister's birthday party at home day tomorrow. I want you to take care of it." He almost whispered and I shivered at the voice. That was a distraction.

"Okay sir! I will get your home and watch for decoration and catering. " I knew a little about the parties of Oberoi's. It had to be more than grand.

" My driver will take you home tomorrow and our manager will help you with it. " He instructed passing the file to me," review this report and get me in an hour. "

" Okay. " Good amount of work piled up now, I thought.

" Please pick up your phone next time or concentrate on beeper that I don't have to come here each time I want you. " I said as he walked as he walked out of the office.

" Oops! Sorry. " I mumbled to myself thinking of my privileges. I would have got a good scolding if it wasn't him. Why was he so lineant to me?

I took the deep calming breath and started to work again. It was a rough review still I went to him with it.

"Sir?" I called in after a polite knock.

"Please come in! " I rolled my eyes at his over polite ways. I don't know it was annoying me.

" Review. " I passed him the papers and he started to go through it after saying a small," Thanks. "

" Anything else sir? " I asked him and he shook his head. I dismissed his office and thought of next work of arranging the filing cabinet.

It was the most boring job but essential one. No matter if I loved or hated it, I had to do it.

I went to the filing room and was working on it madly. I wanted it to end faster. There was a pattern of the arrangement like a letter/department /letter / file number/ year.

It was so irritating but anyhow I was keeping up with it. "Department is different stupid. Concentrate!" I scolded myself when I was doing it wrong.

My phone rang and it was Piya.

" Heya. " I said putting the phone between my shoulder and ear.

" Where the hell are you? It's lunch time. " He yelled at me as it was three days since we were not having good amount of talk.

" I am busy pal. I will take a break as I am done. " I went on separating the files.

" You are coming this instant baby. Is that man giving you a lot of work?" She commanded and I knew I had to get to her.

"I give up! Happy?" I hanged up the call and after filing the half done ones I headed to my dear friend.

"I am very happy! " She said as she saw me walk towards her." How was the meeting? "

" All the credit goes to you both. Oh s**t! I'm sorry I must have given you the credit. He thinks that I did everything. I will tell him. " It was so bad to not let your friends get credit when they deserve it. I almost forgot due to him.

"What? Are you out of your head? We are your f*****g friends. So no need to do it all. Let him be happy with you." Piya teased me while Abeer glared her.

"Abeer piya has something for you? " I said excitedly to him as to I don't know what entered into me.

" What the hell! "She shouted and I punched her arm lovingly. " Wait I have actually. Where were you yesterday night? "

She stood in front of him and Abeer made lot of hand movement hiding himself from Piya's lovely hand which were beating him.

" You told me you were going to meet your friend admitted in hospital, liar." She yelled at him.

"So yeah! I went to him and then I went to the party. Why you have to behave this way? Stop it! " He yelled back saving himself from her.

At the end he caught her from back and wrapped her around his arm so that she couldn't move, "What you have to say now Piya darling?"

He smirked and she started with her dirty mouth. I blocked her and asked them about the food, "What you would like to eat?"

"Usual. " They both said at the same time still throwing words at each other. I smiled at their lovely fight.

I gave our usual order and when I came back I saw them still in the same position talking quietly. I opened my mobile phone to get them on it.

"Look at me. " I said and as they did I took their snaps. They really looked great together.

" It's lovely " I commented at their snap." You both look great together guys. "

" Show me!" Piya took the phone and their banter again started and went on till our order came. We laughed, made jokes and had our food. When we had finished our lunch, we got back to our work. It was this way that my past couldn't hurt me but I get alone everything dance on my head badly.

" Are you going home with me after work? " Piya asked when she got out of elevator.

" Lot of work! I will tell you. " The elevator door closed and I got back to my boring work.

It was six when I was done with it. I thought of making him coffee as he asked me to. I made the coffee the way I loved.

I couldn't stop smiling remembering him like my made coffee. I got to his office with the cup of coffee.

"Coffee! " I chanted to my amazement. His head snapped up at me, smiling at me.

" Thanks but I wanted some fresh air. Would you like to go out and have coffee with me? " He asked and my eyes widened in surprise.
