“MORNING, SUNSHINE.” The sound of my little sister’s voice drills into my head. It pounds like I actually have a brain, to begin with. Wait, that sounds wrong. But you know what I mean. I wince when the pounding turns into this throbbing pain. I sit up, holding my head like it’s made of glass. The throbbing pain gradually dulls into this thuds. I try to swallow, but my mouth is dry and I’m having regrets like no other. I know this feeling. Humans would say it is a hangover. To us, this is a blood coma.
