CHAPTER 86: LOOKING AT THE MOON A LITTLE BIT CLOSER

THE FIRST THING that I noticed is that the Moon is exceptionally closer and bigger here. It looks like a giant big ball with a lightbulb right around it. I can see it with my clear eyes as if it’s not in some outer space somewhere in the sky, not limited by distance that’s probably a year of lightning or something. I don’t know. Human science is not my best trait. I gape at it, over the hills that we are one because it’s probably the most beautiful and breathtaking thing—if I breathe at all—that I’ve ever seen in my entire Vampyr life. It’s not like the stars aren’t around it and they don’t look good, but when there are so many stars out there, there’s only one Moon that steals the entire show.
