It’s the first thing that comes to mind immediately when I wake up. My vision isn’t even fully back yet. I’m still seeing stars. Black dots that make my eyes want to close forever and ever. I don’t think I understand why humans black out, until today. It seems like I’ve been experiencing more human experiences in a day than in the years and months I’ve spent living amongst them. It’s honestly so exhausting.
To think that I, a Vampyr, can even pass out from what—hunger? Exhaustion? The sun? The grief? I have no idea what. All I know is passing out sucks. I don’t know the humans do it. To be in constant headache and on the brink of passing out at every minute of the day.
