Lovech Kingdom
It’s been a few days since Reyna could hear the constant ringing of her mother's voice call out to her. And, it’s also been a few days since Reyna physically saw the face of her killers.
Those faces, that hunted her dreams every night as she would wake up in a cold sweat. Reyna's life in the palace has changed drastically since she met the faces of her killers, and so has her mindset.
For the past couple of days, everyday Dragnior, Zahn and Ms. Syrah would question Reyna constantly about what she remembered from that day after seeing Aaron and Clarissa faces.
Even though she decided to keep this a secret from everyone else, Reyna was a natural liar as she would always tell them that she didn't remember anything but in reality, she remember that she claimed to get her revenge on the Red Crest couple.
Reyna claimed to avenge her son.
Of course... that's the ONLY thing that Reyna remembers as the transformation that she went through was almost like a memory in her head that her brain wouldn't let her unlock. She does not remember turning into a dragon.
But... besides that point, there was one major problem amongst that plan that Reyna wanted to carry out immediately, Reyna was still weak and she didn't know where to even start her plan now that she lost her connections from being the Red Crest Queen and she lost her support system as everyone now believes that she is dead.
While being around Dragnior and Zahn, Reyna days have been spent in so much bliss that she almost forgot the reason why she was here in this Kingdom to begin with. It was because those monsters killed her one and only baby.
As her head was in thought and her mind was twirling with ideas of trying to figure out where she could go with this plan, Reyna's feet stumbled on the smooth floor beneath her, she could feel the earnest appreciation of the sun’s feelings pouring down on her day as he showed how happy he was through the windows of the Lovech hallways.
The sky changing colors brightened up her mood in ways that words could never express, for expressions are things that she believed she couldn’t achieve anymore. Happiness, joy, love, those words were now just randomly picked letters forming themselves into a meaning became more to me than just a simple word.
It became her new emotions as she kept living here in the Lovech Kingdom.
Reyna suddenly sighed deeply as her thoughts ran throughout her head causing pain to flash within her axons.
“My Queen!”
Turning her head away from the window, Reyna glanced over and saw Ms. Syrah there bowing down to her as Syrah kept her head bowed in the face of her Queen.
Syrah has been trying to get into Reyna's good graces for a couple of days now and she is literally has become to foot in Reyna's ass as Syrah always wants to be around her Queen. Syrah is always protecting Reyna from anything and is always keeping tabs on her personal health.
It’s very weird… to watch your enemy care for you dearly as if you are their own blood and body.
“Yes Ms. Syrah.” Reyna replied with a wry smile
Reyna couldn't understand what Syrah actually wanted.
Did she just want to annoy me some more by being by her side everyday? Or was this for Dragnior to keep tabs on me while I wandered around the palace? Is there something that the Lovech Kingdom is hiding?
As Reyna thoughts were beginning to travel again, Reyna could feel a sudden yawn creeping up on her as she moved her right hand to cover her mouth and yawn lightly.
Lately Reyna has been more tired than usual as the days and nights go by. Reyna would constantly want to sleep and eat. And don't get anyone started about what happens to Reyna after eating a huge meal... you will literally watch Reyna falling asleep at the dining table trying to sleep again.
Gosh this is too much.
“Please Miss, do not call me Ms. Syrah, Syrah or servant is good enough.” Syrah spoke
Syrah hated whenever Reyna would call her Ms. Syrah. No Queen should be calling of common grounds a Ms., mainly when that Ms. was the reason why the Lovech Kingdom almost lost everything over a simple transformation from the Queen.
After the day that Reyna changed into her dragon, Syrah was put on punishment from the King as he was protective of his other half. It made sense, as dragons have a certain sensitive to each other that only they can understand. So once Drangior realized that he now needed to protect ANOTHER Empyreal Dragon, he began to start changing.
If you weren't on team The Queen, then you were sentence to death.
As Syrah studied Reyna's body closely, there was a certain question that ran through Syrah's head as she noticed Reyna's signs.
“Have you and Dragnior been fated in the bedroom yet?”
Reyna knees went weak as she had to hold her hand against the hallways walls to support herself.
Did she really just ask me that question?!
“No me and Dragnior have NEVER been in the bed together.” Reyna quickly replied to Syrah as she bowed her head down
“I am sorry, you’ve just been showing the signs of a pregnant woman.”
A pregnant woman? Trust me, with how long my pregnancy was and the pains I had with it, I would know if I was pregnant.
“It’s not pregnancy that’s making her body so wary.” A deep voice called out
As Reyna moved her eyes to look behind the obsessed Syrah, there was a man with formal clothing on him. The man had curly brown hair that slicked itself back as it showed his ovaled face.
His eyes had the color of a really light brown, hazelnut almost as they were deep and controlling, almost as bad as Dragnior’s possessive eyes. His oval face looked older as he had a mustache that covered his pink upper lips.
The man was nothing less than handsome, but not better than Dragnior. Not better by a long shot.
“Master James.” Syrah said rolling her eyes at the man
James?
The man named James looked over at Reyna and smiled with kindness behind his teeth.
So I am finally meeting the Queen herself in person huh?
“It is finally nice to see you in person. My name is James Lovech, second in command to Dragnior and Dragnior’s butler.” James said bowing his head slightly at Reyna
Reyna smiled.
She didn’t even know that Dragnior had a butler, let alone a second in command.
What other things does Dragnior have that I don’t know about, Reyna thought to herself as James started walking closer to her.
“I believe that Ms. Reyna is experiencing side effects from the other day.” James stated his words carefully as if he was hinting to something for Syrah to understand
Syrah nodded his head with her eyes widened.
“R-Right! I forgot about that…” Syrah mumbled before moving her eyes to look down at the ground, like she was in deep thought
Confused, Reyna looked over to James who swiftly picked up her right hand in his and squeezed her hand tightly.
“Let’s go find Dragnior.” James said as he began walking with Reyna's hand in his
James' hand was soft and warm, much different from Dragnior’s hand that would change from hot to cold. Strange... why would someone who Reyna has never seen before suddenly show up to talk to her randomly?
Is he really a second in command? Should I call someone to watch over him just in case?
“I remember a few weeks ago the King and Queen of the Red Crest Kingdom came by to our Kingdom,” James started speaking
Reyna ears perked up and my attention was focused. Not only did this strange man show up out of nowhere to take her to Dragnior, but now this man was beginning to talk about to incident that happened the other day when Reyna's saw her murderers faces.
Where was James going with this?
“They sent a letter saying that they wanted to come by to our Kingdom for a peace treaty and yet, we discussed nothing that day. We only saw the sparring between you and Ms. Syrah.”
Baiting his words carefully, James led the couple through the hallways as they took a sharp right turn towards the private opened garden that Reyna once found out this palace had by accident a few days ago after Syrah embarrassed her on the training grounds.
“For a Kingdom that wanted a treaty, they surely did a great job trying to convince Lovech to join them in arms for anything.”
“Are you trying to imply that they came to the Kingdom for something more?” Reyna asked James trying to figure out if Aaron and Clarissa actually knew that she was the servant on the battlefield that day and if those monster asked Syrah to kill her
“I am not implying anything Miss. I am just speaking my mind in concern as the second in command.” James glanced over at Reyna from the side of his eyes and winked
Reyna smirked under with her straight face now loosening up as she started to like James. He knew information, he held second best position to be able to help Reyna complete her plan if Drangior decides not to help her, James will be able to help her properly put her revenge plan into motion.
“Then, speaking my mind as well, it is possible to feel like the red sunset in the bright lit sky may have come to Lovech for a sudden interest?” Reyna asked
The couple continued their talk as we walked in the direction towards where Dragnior was located.
James smiled as he liked how she asked her question. She didn't revealing the information that she knew by bluntly putting any names into the sentence, and she was careful with her words just in case an open ear was listening.
“I don’t believe the red sunset came for any sudden interest. The words and actions of the lit sky would’ve been different since they would have recognized what the gains were immediately.” James said
Hmm, that is true. If they recognized that it I was the servant, then they probably would’ve tried to kill me again without waiting in front of Dragnior and the servants.
Looking up at James, Reyna felt James’s hand squeeze hers tightly.
“I believe that the Lovech Kingdom has much to offer the world,” He began talking as Reyna rose her eyebrows in question
Much to offer?
“The Lovech Kingdom is known for being secretive about their belongings because it is said that they hold more power than the lead people to believe.”
More power? What exactly is this Kingdom hiding? Wait…
“Did the sudden visit of another Kingdom hint towards them wanting to understand the Lovech Kingdom more in person?”
James nodded his head impressed by her catching on so quickly.
“That may be the case since there were no where benefits that the King and Queen should have gotten from Lovech, well, that we know of.” James hinted wondering if Reyna would figure it out
James was a jack of all trades as he always knew what was going on in the palace. James knew that Reyna remembered claiming to get revenge on Aaron and Clarissa based off of her actions recently. Reyna has been asking about the Red Crest Kingdom lately while writing notes on papers she steals from the hallways that James leaves for her.
She's been thinking, but she didn’t know where to start. So James thought that by establishing a friendly relationship with her, knowing his power, she would soon want to use him to help her.
Aaron and Clarissa didn’t benefit from coming from the palace? No, that isn’t right.
Knowing Aaron, Reyna knew that if he found something amongst this Kingdom and was satisfied enough with what he found, then he would go home. But, if Aaron wasn’t satisfied, he wouldn’t have left the Lovech Kingdom until he found something. Staying 15 nights if he had to.
“May I ask what happened in the palace the day that the King and Queen decided to bless the palace with their presence?”
Reaching the private garden outside, Reyna and James took a seat on a rock that was made for butts to be placed on. James let go of Reyna’s hand and placed that hand on his upper thigh.
“You of all people should know what happened Ms. Reyna. For you are the answer.” James said as he stood up from the rock
Smiling his flashy smile, James began walking away from the brown skinned beauty.
As James legs began walking away from Reyna, he could feel his heart fluttering a mile a minute with his legs trying to give out on him. Glancing over his shoulder a few times to look at Reyna again before she was completely out of his sight, James had a lustful thought as he grabbed his collar and shook it out.
Jeez!
James could see why Dragnior was beginning to feel attracted to her.
Reyna is definitely a beauty. Without even knowing, her body and eyes seduced the second in command with ease as James walked away from Reyna blushing harshly.
So as James was now out of the picture from Reyna's day after answering a few questions that have been bottling up in her mind, Reyna felt relief that Aaron and Clarissa didn't know she was the servant fighting that day, but she was even know confused at what James told her.
I am the answer? Reyna thought to herself as she kept playing back James’s words
I don’t know what that could mean, but maybe his words might have something to do with the reason why everyone keeps asking her if she remembers what happened that day. As Reyna stood up from the rock while trying to stretch out her body, there was a voice that could be heard... a whispered voice talking.
“Rubian… Rubian…”
Confused by the sudden low talking voice, Reyna began walking over slowly to the sad sounding voice and could see that the voice was coming from a Garden.
The Garden looked beautiful as the field was full of vibrant standing pink roses surrounding that seemed to be protecting something... yes. The pink roses were protecting one singular daisy that stood in the middle of in the field. The one daisy barely moved when the wind blew warm air throughout the skies.
As Reyna eyes tried to get adjusted at what she was looking like, Reyna could also see Dragnior there stomping on the pink roses as he made it over to the one daisy. Lifting his foot up, he was about to step on the daisy before Reyna heard a voice.
“DONT!”
It was her voice.
Reyna's voice called out to Dragnior making him flinch and glare his eyes over into her direction.
“COME OUT REYNA!” Dragnior yelled out
Feeling fear hitting her nerves as her brain pictured the sight of her running away from this scene, but Reyna knew that she couldn't follow that command because Dragnior would then run after her. Reyna knew that Dragnior would catch her and killing her... at least that's what Drangior's emotions were telling her.
Sighing, Reyna began walking slowly over to an angry looking Dragnior.
His pale skin was fuming red as his ears looked pointer today than any other days. He put his foot down away from the daisy before walking over in the same direction of Reyna.
Reyna eyes widened as she could see something behind Dragnior.
An aura that was dangerous and scary just by looking at it… a dragon?
Why can I see a dragon trying to form from Dragnior's anger?!
As Dragnior moved his large body over to the small shape of Reyna, Dragnior grabbed Reyna's wrist harshly as he pulled her close to him. As the dragon's blood within Reyna felt the touch of her other half, she under the immediate thought that Dragnior was about to pull her into a hug and show her love... but she was wrong.
Feeling her beautiful face be pulled down into the mud of the flowers below her, Reyna didn't even realize what happened to her until after 5 minutes of her laying in the mud.
Huh?
Slowly pulling her face up from the grass with shock and amazement in her face, Reyna looked over at Dragnior as he was breathing deeply now. His anger was slowly trying to take over him, and because Dragnior never needed a reason to be calmed down for anything, it was getting hard for him to hold back his emotions.
What is wrong with him?
“D-D-Dragnior? W-What’s wrong…?”
Reyna could feel her body now becoming a bit fearful of the man that her heart fluttered for everytime she saw him or heard his name. She could feel her concerns and worries sparking throughout her body with ease as she couldn't believe her situation right now.
Since Reyna met Drangior, yes she always believed that he was an asshole, but she was never scared of him. Reyna never saw a reason to be truly afraid of him as she has had her far share of meeting people who actually wanted to kill her.
Reyna has never been scared of Dragnior, that is until now as she watched his green eyes turned gold. His nostrils flared as his jaw clenched, is it bad that he looks so good right now?
“WHO BROUGHT YOU HERE?!”
Damn, and his angry voice sounds so deep...
"ANSWER ME!"
Reyna came out of her thoughts as Dragnior yelled at her harsher than ever.
“I-I just came h-here with J-Jame…”
“JAMES?! OF COURSE JAMES WOULD BRING A USELESS GIRL LIKE YOU HERE!”
Useless? Who is talking about? Me...?
“D-Dragnior… please tell me that you don't mean that.”
Reyna was at odds about her feelings and her new found life as she wanted to fight against her old kingdom that ruined her and treated her like s**t, but she didn’t want to fight the new kingdom that she started to really like.
Reyna didn’t want to fight Drangior.
“YES I DO! HOW DARE YOU COME INTO RUBIAN'S GARDEN?! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE?! MY f*****g WIFE!?” Dragnior spat at Reyna
The love of his life… his… wife? Is he talking about Zahn’s mother right now? Her name is Rubian?
“I-I’m sorry.”
“YOU'RE SORRY?! YOU TAINTED PURE GROUNDS WITH YOUR FILTHINESS!”
Alright, that’s enough.
Standing up from off of the ground, Reyna could feel her sternness hardening.
I can tolerate certain things but I can not tolerate him constantly belittling me. Not when I already had a man do that to me.
Taking a deep breath from the whole issue, Reyna decided that it would be better to just walk away. Walk away and act like none of this ever happened. As Reyna turned around away from Dragnior and started to walking away, Dragnior grabbed her wrist harshly again and Reyna winced at the pain.
“I bet you wanted to see Rubian’s garden because you wanted to be her.” Dragnior said as his grip got tighter almost feeling like Dragnior hand was soon going to snap her little wrist bone
Shocked by the sudden movements that Dragnior was doing, Reyna quickly snatched her wrist away from him and Dragnior stepped closer to her. Reyna didn’t want to fall back in fear, even though she was now completely scared. If she couldn't face this man, then she knew that she couldn't face the man who actually killed her.
“I don't want to be HER! I am here because James was trying to tell me what happened to me the day that Aaron and Clarissa came to Lovech. I don’t care about this garden and right now I DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! I was really starting like you Dragnior, but I’ve been disrespected too long to be receiving this same treatment from you!” Reyna yelled at Dragnior
Dragnior went silent as Reyna ran over to the daisy that was in the field, using her right foot to express ALL of the anger that she was feeling inside of her heart, Reyna stomped on the flower instead, crushing it under her foot.
Jumping on the single flower with anger that clouded her heart and mind, Reyna glared up at Dragnior as he looked at her with an annoyed and heated face.
"f**k YOU AND THIS b***h GARDEN!” Reyna yelled and something inside of the Dragnior snapped
Dragnior’s dragon blood kicked in as the blood rushed to his legs and he sprinted in anger over to Reyna.
Reyna was scared yes, she was visibly shaking in her dress right now as Dragon ran over to her at top speed. Feeling tears trying to make their way into her eyes, Reyna could feel a strong sense of security cover one part of her brain as the other part of her brain was still scared.
Her body knew something that didn’t about herself from her line of family blood. Reyna possessed something special that caused her to be able to accept the Dragon’s blood so easily as it didn’t give her any negative effects.
Her blood knew who she was as it demanded its presence in her body causing her sudden strong sense of security.
As her blue veins began to turn to a slightly different color and her throat changed its shape to provide her a louder and powerful voice, Reyna’s skin and throat started to burn in pain. Milliseconds were going by as everything was taking place inside of Reyna’s body.
The burning pain, the blood making itself known, Dragnior running towards her out of anger that it seemed like he couldn’t control. Reyna’s body instinctively made her open up her mouth and her throat released an ultra sounding radio wave that connects straight to the eardrum of any living creature.
“STOP!” Reyna yelled out
Dragnior’s body froze by itself at the voice of Reyna as he fell from the sudden stopping motion. Being right in front of Reyna, Dragnior fell into the grass and Reyna sighed in relief.
He didn’t actually have any intentions on hitting me so he stopped himself. Thank goodness, Reyna thought to herself as she thanked the Lord that Dragnior could stop himself before he got to her.
Dragnior looked up at Reyna with shock.
How did she stop me?!
It was like every fiber and cell that made his body listen to Reyna’s command of him to stop and it did. Automatically.
Dragnior stared into Reyna’s now gold eyes and started to get scared once again like how he did when Reyna became a dragon.
Who is this woman that he decided to give his ancient blood too? If she was this powerful, why was she killed to begin with?
With questions roaming Dragnior’s mind, he was left with one question, who the hell was Reyna Rose?
