Chapter Six “I used to think having a fireplace in warmer climates was a total cliché but now I don’t mind at all,” I say, yanking the blanket over me and warming myself up to the fire in Rich’s living room. Rich’s laugh is warm and throaty. I can smell the Scotch he is pouring on the other side of the room. Part of me wants to ask for some and part of me knows it won’t do my headache any favors. “Well, you need to warm up. You were positively drenched by the time I got to you.
