I walked with my arm locked with Kain’s as we walked into the big building. Everybody was dressed to impress and I hate to admit, but the vampiress’ were stunning. They had a specific glow about them. I looked back at Kain, who must have listened in to my thoughts.
“Cheer up.” He said to me. “You look way better than these women do.”
I smiled and turned my attention back to the front. We made it to the front of the entrance and there was a bouncer there, collecting tickets. Kain took out two tickets and handed it to the bouncer.
