"That was the best day ever," Joy laughed as we entered our mudroom through the back door. "Did you see old Mrs. Henderson's face when the horse pooped right at her feet? I thought I was going to pee myself laughing!"
Gavin and I exchanged glances and laughed along with Joy. Juvenile humor at its best. What can I say? It was funny. You would think she had never seen horse poop before. Which we knew was impossible as her family owned horses.
"Do you two want a hot chocolate before you go home?" I asked.
"No," answered Gavin. "We need to give Ian a drive home. Mom and Dad have plans for a family dinner, and you have to talk to your parents about which university you are going to choose. I do kind of hope you pick Glasgow. That way I will have someone from home close by."
