Later in the afternoon, Luke visited Alik in the palace.
As soon as he entered his office, Luke looked around the place. He was familiar with Alik’s preference. All their offices in KD Main conform to the modern minimalist style. Alik preferred good ventilation and natural lights radiating from glass panels. The bulky curtains would not be appealing to him. On top of that, he was now surrounded by books and a heavy mahogany table and wood shelves.
The furnishing and style of his current office in the kingdom were the exact opposite of what he liked.
Aside from that, Alik usually occupied half of the floor of his office alone. His office in the kingdom was only a quarter of that. He couldn't believe Alik was willing to work in such an environment.
