Why did I not know this earlier? I should have figured it out. She comes from this hometown, that’s what my PI told me, I just didn’t expect she would be neighbors with my mother.
When our mother called and asked we show up for the dinner, I didn’t want to ask further, because this is my mother and I never question when she asks to see us. Besides she had just bought this place and I wanted to know where she lives. But now I feel like I should have come up with an excuse.
