NORA The room still felt heavy even after Mira left. The air was thick, like I could still smell her bitter scent lingering. My heart hadn’t settled, pounding wildly inside my chest as if it wanted to escape. Logan sat closer, brushing my hair back, his thumb wiping away the tears on my cheeks.
