As I approached my car with Caroline and my arm still linked, I glanced over my shoulder at Katelyn and she was chatting with Asher, they were talking about some last summer hangout they did.
They seem close and I have questions, but it was already answered before I could ask. Asher seemed interested in Katelyn, and Katelyn also felt a tiny bit of interest for him, although it was nothing compared to what she felt for Michael.
Caroline touched my arm with a smile on her lips and I faced her, her words sweet and inviting. "Hey, Ryan, like I said before, do you mind giving me a ride home today?"
