After walking out of the bathroom, the first thing Wayne did was look for Anna. However, he didn't see her. He asked the receptionist where she went, but they had just changed shifts and didn't know what had just happened.
"She probably went back home. You know, it's late." Charlotte said and took Wayne's hand.
Then she leaned against Wayne, blinking her reddened eyes and saying in a muffled voice, "Wayne, I'm a little tired. Would you take me home?"
They stood at the front desk, making the receptionists look stunned.
The receptionists stared dumbfounded at them and wondered what was going on. They all knew that Wayne was in a relationship with Anna. So, they didn't know why Charlotte was so close to Wayne.
