Anna's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. It took her a while to regain her composure and ask, "What are you talking about? Did you really tell her that?"
"Oh, it seems you weren't around her at that time," Andrew said as he looked at her.
Anna clenched her fist and thought, Damn it! Peace, you lied to me again! No wonder you kept telling me that Andrew was a weirdo, and told me to get fully prepared! You didn't even try to tell me what Cooper had told you on the phone!
Anna felt that if Peace had not been in the hospital at that time, she would have called her and yelled at her. Nonetheless, she forced herself to speak with Cooper.
