-Present Day-
Jacob
“Matt, can you ensure I have a full day of interviews tomorrow? I need at least a day off this week.” I said, turning around and placing the shītload of applications I had on hand on top of the desk.
I have worked extra hard and overtime since I arrived in Italy. I have proven my loyalty and worth to my capo, and I don’t regret my decision to move here almost a year ago.
Lombardi had made me Head of Security for this club. My main priority was going to be this club and assist in the personal security for Aria, his wife, and potentially my best friend but don’t tell her that.
The creaking noise of the door made me crank my neck up. I inhaled to not flip out on the person as I was already highly exhausted and didn’t have the energy to interview another one. I turned around and saw the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. She entered the door, looking around, her blonde hair falling just above her breasts in a beautiful wavy style. Blue eyes and long legs.
She is a lovely B cup, a perfect fill for my hands. And her ass was already making my cöck twitch in my pants.
What in the fūck was wrong with me? How can this stranger make me act like a teenage boy? I was ready to cūm in my pants.
“Excuse me, how can I help you?” I asked her as I walked toward her.
“I’m sorry, I am looking for a job. I wasn’t aware that this place was not open.” She replied while looking down at her feet.
My hands were itching to touch her, but I had no idea who this woman was, and by the way she’s acting, she’s been through some shīt.
“What kind of job are you looking for?” I asked her as she remained staring at her feet. Was she nervous because of me?
“I think you need to look at me to answer me. I promise I won’t bite.” I said.
I was trying to get her to look at me with those beautiful eyes she has. She slowly raised her head, instantly making me get lost in her eyes.
“Anything. I just moved here and need something to do. I used to be a bartender back in the United States.” She replied, giving me a small smile, and if my cöck was not already had, it was now trying to rip out of my pants.
“You’re hired. The club opening is not until a couple of months from now, but I am sure you can help get everything ready.” I said, wanting to see her smile again.
I have been down this road before, and it did not end well for me, but something about this girl has all my thoughts of right and wrong flying out the window. It made me forget my past just by looking into her eyes and gaining a smile from hers.
“Thank you so much! You will not regret it.” She replied, smiling.
There it goes. My heart constricted just seeing her smile. I will make sure that this woman becomes mine and that the smile she gave me just now never falters.
“I know I won’t. Do you mind staying for a couple of hours? So that we can get your paperwork ready and get you settled before tomorrow.” I asked her, hoping she would say yes and I could spend the rest of the afternoon with her.
“Sure, I have nothing else better to do.” She replied, making me smile.
“Good. You can look around while I gather the documents I need you to sign, okay?” I said while turning on my heel.
I returned to the office and gathered the required documentation for the new hires. My heart was hammering in my chest, my hands were clammy, and my mind was running on overload. Her smile and eyes brought my heart back to life and that was impressive. Once I had the documents in my hand, I walked back out.
I leaned on the door’s ledge, watching her. She was walking around, admiring everything we had.
It was a nice, decent club. From where I was standing, the VIP area was to the left. Each room had black curtains that draped for privacy against the other VIP room and the public.
A chandelier hung on each one, and there was wrap-around seating on the three walls. A small table in the middle houses a plug to charge your cellphone and a small bucket where they will place ice and your choice of beverages. A U-shaped bar is right in the middle with bar stools all around and then the considerable dancing area. The bathrooms were located on the right-hand side of the club.
She must’ve sensed that I was watching her because she turned around, giving me that megawatt smile before saying, “This place is amazing.” Turning back and walking around.
“It is.” I walked over to the bar, pulling out a barstool. She turned around and walked over to me.
“Is this it?” She asked as she grabbed the papers.
“It is.” I replied, and I was only able to respond with short answers. I was scared to scare her off.
“Perfect.” She replied as she rummaged through her purse for a pen.
She looked at me with those sad puppy eyes and bit the corner of her lower lip.
Fūck me! My cöck was almost down, but now… Now it’s fighting with my zipper to stay locked in my jeans.
“Do you have a pen I could borrow? I thought I had one in my purse, but I don’t.” She rambled out, making me smile.
“Let me get one for you.” I replied, getting off the stool and walking toward the office to get her a pen.
I grabbed one from the desk, fixed my cöck in my pants, and went back out.
“Here you go.” I handed her the pen, our fingers slightly grazing.
She hitched her breath, then jerked her head to look at me. I held my breath, watching intently her eyes and how they dilated.
“Thank you.” She replied, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear with trembling hands before she began filling out her paperwork.
“Why are you so nervous around me?” I asked her, leaning toward the stool.
She didn’t reply. She just shook her head. “Please look at me.” I said, almost sounding like a beg.
She slowly raised her head to look at me, tears threatening to spill at the brim of her eyes.
“Answer me.” I encouraged her as I raised my hand to graze it on her cheek, but she flinched as she saw my hand coming toward her cheek. I retrieved it just as quickly as my jaw ticked.
I wanted to ask her all the questions I knew she would not give me the answers to right now.
“I’m sorry. Can I bring these back to you tomorrow?” She asked, trying to contain her tears.
“Of course.” I replied, watching her stand up from the stool on shaky legs and gather the paperwork.
She walked past me, making my heart shatter. What the fūck? What is going on?
‘Let her go, Jacob.’ That is what my mind was telling me to do, but my heart couldn’t.
I turned around just as she was going to push the door open. “When you feel comfortable to tell me who fūcked with you that badly, I will kill them.” I said, making her dip her chin and push the door, exiting the club.
I pulled my cellphone out of my pocket, dialing Kevin.
“Miss me—“ He was saying when I cut him off.
“There was a woman just here, and I need you to run her face through the facial recognition program. I want everything you can find out.” I hissed, ending the call, not wanting to hear any of his judgmental shīt right now.
