"Katies POV" As we run through the trees, our feet crunch the ground, leaves and branches on the forest floor. Jax runs quietly and I've lost track of where he went. Pausing, I breathed heavily, filling my lungs with oxygen. Looking around, I don't see him, we've played this game before and he always wins. But I have been practicing. Looking around, I found a tree I could scale quickly. I quickly dig my heels and hands in and perch myself on a branch quietly. Listening around me, I hear birds chirping, and the stream that runs through the pack territory flowing. Its not the sounds I'm listening for though, concentrating harder.
