After everyone leaves, I go into the kitchen, pulling the crockpot from the cabinet. I put a roast with potatoes and carrots in it, along with a cup of broth. I set it on low to cook slowly today.
Bear and I go spend the day with Star and the babies. When I enter her living room, she is in the rocking chair, breastfeeding them while Tim folds onesies from a laundry basket.
Bear walks over, sniffing the baby's feet, then comes over to lay at mine.
We have a wonderful day together, laughing, talking, and cuddling our newest family members.
