Note to Readers
The first chapter was written in “neutral” first-person point of view (POV). I did this because, at this point in the story, we don’t know who is speaking—by design.
The remainder of the story is written the way I always write, with Gino, the detective, in first-person POV—represented by the badge symbol at the beginning of the chapters—and the rest of the characters written in third-person POV—represented by the gun. (Whether they are good or bad)
Thanks for understanding,
Giacomo
Note: As always, the story is told in first- and third-person POV. A detective’s shield image indicates that scene is being told from Gino’s POV, in the first person. A gun image at the beginning indicates any and all others in third person.
Also to note, I started doing my own eBook formatting, which has allowed me to insert images, which I’ve selectively done. Let me know if you do, or don’t, like that. I think it looks good, but that’s just me.
