Aisha “ Watch where you going b/tch” I heard before I was pushed down on the floor, I saw the school blond bimbo with her minions behind her, laughing when she pushed me to the ground not saying anything I picked up my books and walked to my locker. Some people might say I was weak for not standing up to them, but the point of the matter is I couldn't do anything if I wanted to because her daddy is the mayor of our little town so she gets to do anything she wants and get away with it too. When I got to my locker I found my best friend was already waiting for me, it was a relief to see a friendly face after what the demon child did to me, when I reached the locker I gave her a hug “Hey girl” “Don't a girl me, I don't know why you let them do this to you.” She goes again, it's always the same with us, she wants me to stand up to them and I don’t want to. She asked me it's always the same question with her why don't I defend myself whenever Amy does bully me, honestly, I dont know I'm just so not in the mood to be at their level, yes I should defend myself and all but what good those that going to bring me since I know anything I do to her it will reflect on my family some kinda way. I ignored Amber’s question, opened my locker, and took out my history book for my next class, honking my hand into her arm. I dragged her with me before we had the same argument again since I didn't want to be late for class, and had to go see the stinky principal. We walked into the classroom just as the last bell rang, With relief I took my seat next to Amber and waited for Mrs.Anderson to come in. The fact that she wasn't standing by the door waiting for us was a shocker, now that it's been twenty minutes since we were waiting for her and she hasn't shown and this so unlike her, the woman will send you to detention if the belly ran while you stand in by the door that's how striking the woman is. So her not being here is a red flag for me at least, looking back at Amber I whisper “You think she is coming?” “ Nah she would've been here already” looking around the room “I wonder what happened to her though?” As soon as she asks that, the stinky principal walks in with a look on his face a look of sadness and anger it's like he can't decide on which one to have, all the students face forward to hear what he has to say, clearing his throat “ Good morning everyone, I know you all waiting on Mrs. Anderson but Uhm, I'm sorry I have to inform you guys that she will not be coming to class today” “ What happened to her?” one of the kids asked. “ At this moment we don't know. She has been missing since last night and the police are looking for her.” When he says that we all let out a collective gasp, damn, what the hell happened? Since my family moved here this is the first time that I have heard of someone going missing, it's not that our little town doesn’t have its share of crimes but nothing this major. Turning my attention to the classroom I saw everyone getting up and leaving the room behind the principal “What happened ?” “ You zone out again didn't you?” Amber asked, giving her a smile “ he wants us to go to the auditorium and wait for our next class” Guess that makes sense, wouldn't want to leave a bunch of teenagers in a room with no teachers, who knows what they would do, I felt someone pulling me in my arms looking I saw it was Amber “What?.” “Let's go to the cafeteria, we have lunch next so..” she was making her eyebrows dance at me and that meant trouble, I knew she wanted to go flirt with her, not a so-called boyfriend. “For what? So you could go have a staring contest with Carter” “Hey! He has nice eyes,” she said in a dreamy voice “They are so green, when I stare at them, of course, I get lost in those forest green eyes ” pushing my shoulder “If you pay more attention to him you would've noticed how beautiful he was” I doubt that but oh my god it sounds like the girl was making a commercial for the guy, You'll think she would ask the guy out already but no she acts all shy around the dude for no reason. With a roll of my eyes, I followed her to the cafeteria where I stood in line and waited for our food. I got two slices of pizza and an orange juice, while Amber bought yogurt and a small salad. Right before we sat, the man of the hour walked towards us, and to be honest, now that I'm taking the time to look at him, he doesn't look as cute as Amber was making it to be, I mean yeah is got the surfer look going on for him with the blond hair, pair with sparkly blue eyes, and a smile some woman would say is killer but it does nothing to me. “ Hey ladies,” he said with a smirk on his face. “I heard about Mrs. Anderson, what do you think happened to her?” “I think she got tired of this small town and left without telling anyone,” Amber said while batting her eyelashes at him, could she be any more obvious? “Really? Without telling her family, ``Nah, I think something happened, what do you think Aisha?” he asked me. Looking at them I say “Well don't know but knowing Mrs. Anderson, we all know she wouldn't live without saying anything to anyone” The woman was the poster child for punctuation, I don't see her leaving town like this, something happened to her and now that I'm thinking about it, it sends shivers down my back. I don't want to think about the little town that I have come to love for something like that to happen to anyone here. Finish our lunch we throw away the trays and walk back to my next class before saying goodbye to Amber in the hallway, I know there's no way I'm going to be able to focus on anything now, so taking my seat the back of the class I prayed to god to make the time go fast so I could go home and ended this horrible day. God definitely did not hear my prayer because it felt like an eternity that I was sitting in this class to make matters worse one of Amy’s bimbo was in that same class and she kept doing some weird thing with her eyes toward our quarterback. If I was trying to stay clear of them I would've asked her if there was something wrong with my eyes but I wasn't. I kept my eyes straight in front of the class trying to understand what Mr. Milton was teaching because science was not my best friend, it's one of the subjects that I'm struggling the most with. Thank God the bell rang just as Mr.Milton was about to talk about tomorrow's homework, without waiting Every single one of us rang out of the classroom. Almost to my locker, I heard him yell behind us " You'll still get it tomorrow, no worries". Groaning I open my locker and put my books inside of it. When tired and out of breath, Amber ran next to me looking behind me I saw that no one was chasing her so it baffled me as to why she was running it, I took my bag and swung it over my shoulder while I waited for her to say what got her ruining like that, I mean I could think of one thing but I'm sure its that, scratching the back of my head I say " Is your favorite shop having a sell or something?" that would be something she'll run for. shaking her head " No girl, I heard a news" she said between breaths. We were walking outside of the school Science school was over and I was still waiting for her to gather her thoughts and when she finally did, I wished she never said anything because her words shocked me to the cord.
