First, Marie Diaz-Anderson started cleaning the Moroccan walnut hardwood floors that led from the foyer to the family room and then into the living room with its swiveling sixty-five inch Sony LED television that was mounted over the living room fireplace. The wood flooring continued into the oversized kitchen as if it was enveloping the large kitchen island with its stainless steel double-sink and a smaller, vegetable sink bordering the east side of the island. The vegetable sink was mainly used by Marie"s husband, Carlton, when he would occasionally cook alongside Marie. Carlton would mostly cook during the select holidays that they both separately celebrated with their respective families.
