Well . . . that was interesting. Rain was a good thing, right? Further south, this was supposed to be the rainy season, but rain in the desert was erratic. They saddled up the camel and kept going, plodding along the path followed by the bounding energetic goats. Every now and then, a few spits of rain would fall from the sky. The wind was quite cool. Walking became uncomfortable because there was a good deal of wind and the rain continued intermittently, lashing into their faces.
