"listen, me being caught by that prick was not your fault. it was mine. I have been distracted and I failed to assess the situation before I jumped out into the open like that. Zara felt his tension ease as she placed a kiss on his cheek. she knew he still held guilt. she should have looked and made sure everything was safe before she got out and into the open but she didn't think to do it.
