Chapter 4 - The reason behind the secret marriage

POV
"For the love of God Woman can you just hurry up we going to be late" I shout at my wife who has been getting ready for 5 hours...
We are currently running late for our interview with the crew for the movie we just finished filming...
"I'm almost done Quinn!"
"Baby please..." I pleaded...
I was currently sitting on the sofa in our living room... My brother was sitting across from me... Aurora was in our room with her personal stylist/ Make-up artist, who has signed NDA because our marriage is a secret I would love to keep... Not that I'm ashamed of my sexy breathtaking wife... But we agreed before we entered the entertainment industry, we would keep our marriage out of the press and the reason was simple, we didn't need any hype or distractions plus there's extra pressure when married couples have to do things in public and press releases, I for one never wanted to stand in the way of my wife's dreams, I know she could succeed without me holding her back, I would always tell her she deserves better than I could ever give her... she's amazing, and we never seeing each never bothered her, other woman would have a heart attack or divorced me by now, but not my wife, my love... The love of my life... Even when the doctors told us we would never be able to have kids she stayed with me, my sperm count is too low and unable to produce enough to have kids I'm on medication to improve it, but I haven't had the guts to check on the progress...
"You need to chill..."
I look at my brother, who is sitting on the hideous couch he bought us as a wedding gift, the thing is ugly if it wasn't for Ro I would have thrown the damn thing out...
"Not now man"
"Look woman are always late... And you guys are going in separate anyway"
"I know but I at least want to see her and put her in her car"
"Ain't that sweet"
"Yeah, yeah... say all you like"
"When's your interview with FitCo?"
"Next week..."
"Aurora is sharing the cover with you"
"I see... Added pressure..."
"Yeah... You know you guys are matching tonight right?"
"Yeah Ro's idea..."
"What if your relationship gets out?"
"At some point it will come out when we have kids or something..."
"You wouldn't mind it going public?"
I sat up, my arms supported by my legs... I look at my brother...
"I at this point don't care if people know... But I don't want it to affect Ro's career you know? The reason why I told her to keep hidden was because I wanted her to be free to make her own decisions so that my mistakes and career didn't affect hers... But its so hard to not show the world she's mine..."
"Wow... I didn't realize..."
"What?"
"You whipped man... I'm happy you guys have come this far... I can't wait for my brother and my sister to have babies... So I could play with them"
"En" I didn't say anything else... heck I didn't even know if I could have kids... Damn this hurt... We decided not to tell our families about my condition so no one knows...
"And here she is, the woman of the hour..." I hear this airhead say
I look to the right where our staircase is located and there she is... Wearing a silver one sleeve dress... Her fire red hair cascading down her shoulders... The most beautiful woman in the world, I don't care who disagrees with me, but in my heart she's the damn best...
"You look incredible baby" I manage to say without Looking like a complete idiot...
She blushes... Damn she'll be the death of me... How can she be this damn good?
I walked up to her and gave a kiss on the cheek
"Ready?"
She nods her head in agreement...
Niki would be driving with me and Ro would drive with a driver... We couldn't risk being seen together so we had to improvise...
I put Ro in her car... Kissed her on her forehead and waved her off... I got into the car with Niki... my brother would be driving... The radio was on and we didn't speak much... I know this is crazy but I was worried about my wife... I hated not knowing if she was okay... I know how crazy people could drive... I was anxious to see her... And Niki and I don't talk much anyway... it had nothing to do with the fact that I was adopted, it was just the way we were with each other.
When we arrived a noticed Aurora speaking to Tay Smith one of the other Actresses from the movie... We've really gotten close to this crew they like family...
I went up to them...
"Oh hello ladies"
I was standing right behind Ro she visibly stiffened... She always does this we in public I love teasing her...
"H-Hello Q" Tay says...
She acts weird near me...
Ro nods at me with smile... She moved away from me...
"We should head in ladies..." Niki said...
We headed in to the backstage area...
"Q..." I turned to see Tay calling me...
"Yip?" I ask with a frown
"Can I speak to you for a second?" she pauses "In private?"
I frown and look at Ro and Niki... Niki is smiling like and i***t and Ro gives me a small smile and nods...
I look at Tay and nod...
I don't have a good feeling about this...
I follow her into a empty dressing room
"So what's up?"
"Q I- I"
Oh God this is going to take forever...
"I have feelings for you"
My mouth hangs open... If Ro put her up to confessing her love for me... I'll have to punish her...
"I don't know what to say"
"Are- Are you seeing anyone at the moment?" She asks
"I'm so sorry... Tay but I already have someone I love... I'm sorry..."
"Is it Aurora?"
"What?" I cringe at how fast I replied...
"I ... never mind..."
"Tay... look I might be taken that doesn't mean there isn't an amazing guy out there for you... So wait for the man that will sweep you off your feet..."
"Quinn Martelli Thank you. She's a lucky woman..."
"No I am lucky she's the most amazing woman... I don't deserve her"
"Your face lights up when you speak about her"
I just smiled... I'm not going to lie it feels amazing to talk about my love to someone other than family... Even though she doesn't know its my beautiful wife... Just love speaking about Aurora makes my day...
We left the dressing room and joined the others... Niki would be in the crowd by now...
