Lisa’s POV
The door to my room creaked open, and relief washed over me when I saw Maria step in, her face lit up with a radiant smile.
“Lisa, I’ve got good news,” she said, her voice brimming with excitement as she hurried over and pulled me down to sit beside her on the bed.
My eyes fell on the clothes in her hands, and I narrowed my gaze.
“What is the good news?” I asked curiously, wondering what good news could possibly come to me.
Maria’s grin widened. “Alpha Nathan has agreed to take you off the site. You won’t have to work there anymore. Instead, you’ll be his personal maid,” she announced.
