The ride was silent that no one dares to talk, Diane is looking out of the window feeling the fresh air. Pasimple niyang hinaplos ang tiyan at napangiti she was not ready to be a mother but what could she do? Ginusto niya ang nanguari and she will take full responsibility of it.

"Diane..." Cloud whispered. "Talk to me."

But Diane didn't even blink, tila wala itong kasama ilang oras din ang byahe ngunit wala yatang plano ni tignan siya.

"It was nothing, I-I was with a friend —"

Hindi na niya natuloy ang sasabihin ng tumunog ang cellphone nang dalaga Diane cheerfully answered the phone call ignoring him completely.

"We are on our way, of course I told you that I would be there."

Cloud sighed, nag focus na lang siya sa pag mamaneho at nasiyahan na lang sa panaka-nakang pag sulyap sa dalaga.

"I want an apple pie..." Bulong nito sa kawalan.

She suddenly crave one out of nowhere, imagining the taste and texture of the apple pie makes her mouth watered it was devastating because it is a long ride.

"Bakit ka huminto?"

Cloud didn't answer instead he went out of the car and jog towards a shop umirap na lang siya sa hangin at sumandal sa upuan it is tiring she's beginning to be moody and picky madalas may mga pag kain siyang naiisip na hindi niya malaman kung saan niya nakukuha. One time she crave for a spaghetti noodles instead of buying one she bought a noodles and cook it herself but she didn't even put a sauce on it indulging just the noodles.

"My god!"

Cloud came back holding a paper bag in his hand then he gave it to her, tumaas naman ang kilay niya at hindi kinuha ang inaabot nito.

"It's an apple pie."

Diane gulped tempted to take the bag, she doesn't want to take it but her hands move on it's own taking the bag.

"Binili din kita ng Orange juice."

Diane just hum, her eyes watered at the sight and smell of the apple pie agad na nag laway ang kanyang bibig habang nakatingin sa pag kain.

"W-why are you crying?" Natatarantang wika ni Cloud. "Don't you want it?"

Diane shook her head the she took a huge bite of it, napatanga na lang si Cloud habang nakatingin sa dalaga. The silent ride continue hindi na din nag salita si Cloud scared that Diane might activate her b***h side hanggang sa marating nila ang resort kung saan ang usapan nila.

"Babe can you talk to me?" Naiirita niyang wika. "I don't have a long patient Diane so—"

"Do you think I do?" Seryosong wika nito. "No, so don't irritate me so much Cloud."

Diane stepped out of the car it was almost Lunch and she is starving hindi lang siya ang kumakain ngayon dalawa sila ng baby niya kaya't sobra siyang magutom she went inside and saw everyone on the dinning area agad siyang naupo sa tabi ni Catleya at ngumiti.

"I apologize for my tardiness everyone," natatawa niyang wika. "This is Cloud Montemayor my fiance."

Nathan looks so shock upon looking at the man sitting beside her, ngumiti naman si Cloud sa lahat at pormal na nag pakilala.

"It's nice to meet you Cloud, I'm Catleya Diane's older sister and this is my husband Nathan."

Cloud gave them a smile, they were in the middle of Lunch when someone entered the room changing everyone's mood but Diane doesn't seem to be affected patuloy kang itong kumakain. After that Catleya showed them their room si Diane naman ay mabilis na pumasok sa banyo kaya't silang dalawa lang ang naiwan.

"Be patient with my sister, Diane might be a pain in the ass but she is a good person."

Cloud smile and nodded.

"I know, I will take care of her."

Catleya smile before leaving the room siya naman ay naupo sa kama then he lay his body on the bed making himself feel comfortable pero dahil siguro sa pagod at haba ng byahe ay nakatulog siya sa pagod. Then he woke up when he heard his phone someone is calling mabilis siyang dumilat at aabutin na sana ang cellphone niya ng makita si Diane na nakatingin doon.

"Who is Precious?"

Cloud blink numerable times mabilis siyang tumayo at lumapit sa kanyang cellphone he took the phone from the bedside table.

"It was from work I need to answer this."

Diane was left all alone, nakatingin na lang siya sa nilabasan ni Cloud at malalim na bumuntong hininga. Who could it be? Something inside her aches so much that she is scared to be dependent on a man again after Marcus left and betrayed her, after her whole family betrayed her she was left with nothing and just by herself but now? She have her child and she would be left out with her offspring all along being miserable and in despair.

Nagising si Diane sa mataas na sikat ng araw Cloud is nowhere to be found, she yawned still sleepy but she decided to stood up. Inunat niya ang katawan then Cloud enter holding a tray of food in his hand.

"Good morning babe!"

Diane gulped, seeing Cloud like this makes her heart leap agad siyang nag iwas ng tingin sa binata at muling naupo sa kama. Inilapag ni Cloud ang tray ng pag kain at naupo sa tabi niya.

"Kumain kana, I prepared something for you since everyone is out having fun."

Hindi siya kumibo instead she took the spoon and take a big bite of the food.

"How was it?" Wika ni Cloud he then lift his hand to fix her hair. "Did you like it?"

Marahan siyang tumango at mabilis na kumain she was so hungry that she finish all of the food.

"Pupunta ako sa bayan, Do you want to come with me?"

"Ano naman gagawin mo don?" Tanong niya. "May bibilhin kaba?"

Cloud nod his head and smile, napatanga na lang si Diane ng mabilis siya nitong hinalikan sa labi.

"Sorry I can't help it." He said chuckling. "Thank God you finally decided to talk to me, I miss you."

Inirapan lamg siya ni Diane at tinuloy amg pag kain but later on she open a conversation.

"Sino yung babae na sumagot sa phone mo?"

"She's my cousin, Mom told me to pick her up at the airport and they decided to stay in our mansion for a while."

Diane nodded tila gumaan ang pakiramdam niya sa naging sagot nito. Inabot niya ang bag na nasa sahig at nilabas ang pouch she took something inside and show it to Cloud.

"I was in your condo when I called, I found this piece of earring. Kanino to? Sa pinsan mo din ba?"

Agad na natigilan ang binata his eyes were trace to Diane whose looking at her with suspicion in her eyes.

"Yes, Lauren came to my apartment first."

Diane nodded, but something is not right but then she decided to let it go.

"Mag ready kana babe, let's go to the market together."

HINIHINTAY na lang ni Cloud na bumaba ang dalaga para makaalis na sila ng umalis siya kanina ay may nakita siyang antique shop sa bayan his Mom is a fan of antique so he decided to stop by and bought something for her ngunit mamaya niya pa iyon makukuha kaya't bumalik muna siya sa resort.

"Cloud..."

Cloud blink numerable times his eyes darted to the woman standing infront of him hindi niya mapigil ang ngiti habang nakatingin sa dalaga nakatayo sa harap niya, Diane is wearing a crop top paired with a high waisted pants and rubber shoes dagdagan pa ang nitong ponytail at light make up.

"You are beautiful today."

Agad na nawala ang ngiti sa labi no Diane sa kanyang sinabi.

"So I look gross yesterday?"

Cloud chuckled making her frown even more.

"You look beautiful to me every single damn day."

Agad na nag iwas ng tingin si Diane sa kanyang sinabi her cheek blushes making Cloud chuckled.

"Let's go?"

Hawak kamay silang lumabas no one is around as they were asleep napagod ang mga ito sa pag langoy kaninang umaga Cloud open a door for her so she hop in as Cloud jog to the driver side.

"Seatbelt please."

Diane obliged, habang nasa byahe ay panaka naka lamang ang pag mamasid ni Cloud sa dalaga she seem so lost this days but he doesn't know why. Nang maiparada ang sasakyan ay mabilis siyang bumaba upang pag buksan si Diane ng pinto inilahad nito ang kanyang kamay na tinanggap naman nito. Ang paligid ay maingay at puno ng musika Diane's mood lit up parang noong nasa France pa siya.

"Wala naman, saan tayo pupunta?"

Cloud smile, he intertwined their hands and walk past the people dancing and laughing pumasok sila sa loob ng isang shop Diane's mouth hanged open as her eyes roam around the room.

"Nakita ko ito kahapon, I thought that I'll stop by Mom loves antique stuff."

Diane nodded, she felt like she time travel back in 80's dahil sa mga antigong gamit sa kanyang paligid.

"Kukunin ko lang yung nabili ko."

Diane nodded so Cloud left leaving her alone, from the books, accessories even a cute bottle with a ship inside but her eyes caught the beautiful necklace inside a wooden box. It has a heart shape pendant on mukha itong locket necklace ang kanyang kamay ay umuklo upang abutin ang necklace na iyon but someone already take it.

"Sorry it has been paid." Maarteng wika ng babae.

Her brows arch as the woman walks to the cashier.

"Liar!" She hissed and continued looking around hanggang sa bumalik na si Cloud na may bitbit.

"Let's go?"

Diane nodded, sabay silang lumabas hawak ang mga kamay tinungo nila ang sasakyan so Diane hop in immediately.

"Wala ka bang nagustuhan na kahit ano?"

Diane pout.

"May nakita akong locket necklace, it's beautiful and unique but someone got it already."

Cloud hum. Nag simula na itong mag maneho paalis it was a silent ride back from the resort when Diane phone's beep it was an unknown number.

"Sino to?"

Cloud glance on her, mabilis niyang binuksan ang text message her face pale when she saw what's the context of the message. It was Cloud hugging a random girl her hands started shivering in anger as she looks at Cloud but the next message makes her blood boil even more they are now kissing.

"Stop the f*****g car!"

Mabilis na napa preno si Cloud sa kanyang biglaan na pag sigaw she immediately jump off the car and slam her bag on the window leaving a crack.

"Diane what's your problem?"

"Are you seriously going to ask that stupid question of yours? Bakit mo ba ako inaya ng date Cloud?"

Cloud looks confused to her question.

"Is it because you are bored? Is it because you want someone to replace your Ex-fiancee? What?!"

"What are you saying Diane?!"

Malakas niyang binato sa binata ang cellphone na nasalo nito his eyes widened upon seeing the pictures that was sent to Diane.

"Is it still your cousin Lauren? Don't play me for fool Cloud!"

Mabilis na pinara ni Diane ang taxi at sumakay doon she can still saw Cloud standing still looking at her phone. Hindi na niya napigil ang mapaluha habang nasa sasakyan, eto ang isa sa mga dahilan niya kung bakit ayaw na niyang pumasok pang muli sa isang relasyon mahirap maloko, it was so hard to build yourself and trust again.

Nang marating ang resort ay mabilis siyang pumasok kasunod si Cloud they both argue infront of her friends so Keana tried to comfort her.

"Please mag usap na lang kayo, calm yourself down and talk."

Nang maikalma ang sarili ay inalalayan siya ni Cloud papasok sa kanilang kuwarto she doesn't want to talk or even look at him.

"Talk to me please..." Nag susumamong wika ni Cloud, "it was nothing she kissed me and I push her away, it was an accidental kiss and I promise you I will look at everything."

Diane sobbed making Cloud fear, mabilis niyang niyakap ang dalaga at inalo.

"I'm sorry..."
