Chapter 7Frank rushed into the Cub, pleased to see Nathan checking the minisub’s operating systems. The console at the front resembled an aircraft cockpit, and his lover flicked switches dextrously as he ensured everything was in top working order. For the time being, he had Nathan to himself.
Stowing his ditty bag and the weapons, Frank closed his eyes and took a deep breath to calm down. Although this was not their first mission since they had become lovers, it was the first he and Nathan were spearheading. The thought that it might not be a communications failure made Frank suddenly aware of just what he could lose if things went wrong.
