I had returned to the packhouse after hearing what the rogue wolf had said. As I had promised, I set him free, telling him to live his life without doing wrong and to return to his old Pack seeking mercy, or else the next time we met, I would drive my blade deep into him.
When I returned to the Pack, everyone was concerned about my sudden disappearance and why my wolf was covered in blood, but I couldn’t answer them because of my state. Instead, I mind-linked Clyde to get me a robe so I wouldn’t be completely naked in front of my parents and my sister.
