31: Keelin Keelin Keelin stepped from the shower, used a towel to dry herself. It didn’t take much‌—‌her hide had a coating that pretty much let water run off. Which was one advantage of being a NeoGen, she supposed, although it didn’t make up for all the problems. She heard the outer door open, felt Ryann’s trace. She’d been doing more research, trying to track down the cargo. Or talking with Annys. And, from the way she sighed, Keelin knew things hadn’t gone too well. Still on edge from that job, Keelin reckoned. Ryann hadn’t said much about it, only that she had to meet some sleazeball, had to pretend to be nice, then plant a bug. Didn’t sound too bad, but it wasn’t Ryann’s thing, was it? Keelin pulled on trousers and a top, then stepped from the shower room. Steam accompanied her,
