Chapter 21

Ryan pov

I guess I needed to get up. It was late when I decided to wake my ass up. But it didn't help that my guards kept knocking on the damn door. I finally got up to answer the door. It was Wolf that spoke up first.

"Man, Do you realize what time it is. It's three in the afternoon. We thought you left and went back to Mississippi without us."

"Sorry, I had a long night last night. Does anyone know where the party will be held tonight?' I thought about it for a few minutes. I thought about last night that she had said the woman that was in my room. It was being held here. Yeah that's right. But what time?

"never mind. It's going to be at this hotel. But we need to figure out what time. I believe Mollie will be here,'

'Alpha, if you don't mind me asking. Why are you wanting her. I knew why Nile wanted her, he wanted her as his breeder. But why do you want her. There has to be a reason." Cole had asked me.

"I want her because she is the one that got away. Yeah I did a few well a few many things wrong and she caught me. Broke my nose and then took off with the motorcycle she bought me. She didn't tell me where she was going. And now I know she is here. I am determined to get her back."

"Well Alpha, were you too mates? wolf had asked.

."No, I didn't even know what a mate was. I was human until I got turned into what I am. I found my mate last night but we agreed we didn't want each other and rejected each other. I only want Mollie for a few reasons. And I will get her regardless if she comes the easy way or the hard way. Either way I'm going to get her. She will be coming home with me were she belongs and I don't give a damn who she is with right now." they both nod. So I think I need to call down and see when this party is going to start. I don't want to get there early and she sees me. Or scents me out." I knew my intentions weren't good for her. I wanted to pay her back for breaking my nose and taking the motorcycle. I knew it was foolish to do that. But I think she needs to feel how I felt. And besides she can do what I tell her or I'll just kill her or tie her up to a tree and have others have their way with her. Or I could just tie her to a tree out in the woods and let the wild animals chew her to bits. Either way she won't be around anymore. And I'll be done with her, after I got done with the call I hung the phone up.

"The party starts at eight. But no one shows up until later. She also told me to be prepared to have lots of other packs being here. Ten packs will be here when they find their mates they will leave and other packs will come. I don't tend to stay that long. Is the warriors here that I sent for?"

"Yes sir. They are here all thirty of them, Wolf had said."

"Good, have them dressed up with their mask. I don't want them to be seen. Until it is done." alright well let's get going and get something to eat then get back here and start getting ready. I'm starving."

Erick pov

I knew I really did not want to go to this damn thing. Many knew I already had a mate but it won't stop some of these girls hanging all over me. I couldn't stand it when I didn't have a mate. Now I really can't not stand them to even touch me. Mollie is my girl. She keeps me on my toes, we argue and then laugh about. She surprises me all the time. Just yesterday I saw her training outside. And one of the female warriors, Gato decided she wanted to challenge Mollie to a friendly fight. Well the fight got serious once she kicked Mollie in the stomach them kicked her making her fall on the ground. She was trying her hardest to hurt my mate and Mollie figured it out. She got up and waited for Gato to try something else. When she did a roundhouse kick. Mollie caught her leg. Swung her around still holding her leg. She swung her to tree to tree, then she slammed her leg down so hard that she hit her face on the ground. She stepped on her back and said.

Next time you try and challenge me again. Make sure it's for something worth fighting for. She hit Gato right in the face, knocking her out. She left her laying on the ground.

"Anyone else wants to challenge me or try and hurt me? I am so fed up with everyone trying to think they can go around and pick a fight with me. If you have any problems with me. Deal with it right now. Because I have had enough with everyone's bullshit." no one had said a word. They all stood back and bowed down to her. I walked over and held her hand. And spoke my words to them.

"This is your queen, like it or not she is here to stay. She is my mate and queen, so if you excuse us now. We are going inside." we walked into the house, I pulled her close and asked if she was alright.

"Yeah I'm good. I'm just sick of all the fights they are trying to pull around here. I know I've only been here for a few weeks. But damn give me a damn break. It's like every other day they try to see if they can beat me. We are not in high school anymore for crying out loud,"

That night after we took our showers. We went to bed and all we did was talk the night away. We got to know each other so much more. She told me about her first shift that she was by herself. But her wolf helped her through it. She told me the first time she met Ryan. It was during a football game at a friends house. He asked for her number and he called her a few days later. After that she thought everything was good until she started hearing rumors and people coming up to her to tell her about him. She didn't want to believe it, until she came home one day and saw them in bed together. She even told me that she really doesn't trust anyone right now. Even me. I understood why. I wasn't a good guy back then. I did my thing before I met her. And I knew she did hers. Sometimes I wonder why she is even still here. I guess when the time ends in three years I will know. Or I'll find out in a few weeks maybe even in a month or two. Time can go by fast when you are having fun.

Now it's the day of the party. I really did not want to go but I knew I had to. The King has to go to these stupid things and since I have my queen we both have to go. I leaned to my side and saw that she was still a sleep. It was only eight in the morning. I leaned over to her and whispered softly in her ear.

"Wake up love. It's time to open those beautiful eyes of yours." I heard her giggle, when she opened those eyes she was smiling at me. She leaned toward me kissing me softly on the lips.

"Well, I guess today is the day, do we really have to go to this party?" I chuckled. She was just like me. She didn't want to do it but we had to.

"Yea, even though I don't want to go. We have to, we have the higher up in the hall, so no one will see us up there. But we do have to go. To make sure there is no trouble or the packs do not start a fight over stupid crap."

"Dang. Alright. We might as well get up i'll cook breakfast. While you do your thing in the office. Let me know when I need to start getting ready. It won't take me long at all."

About that. The party starts at eight and we need to be there before anyone else does so we can get up on the balcony before anyone else so we won't have to move through the crowd." I heard her sigh as she got out of bed. We showered and got dressed. She only dressed in shorts and a top for right now but she still looked sexy to me,

"Go cook breakfast if you want. I'll be in the office. I'll only be a few hours so if you don't mind, bring it to me."

"How about you take a break when food is done and come eat with me." I nodded. I didn't want to argue on that stupid thing. I just can't wait for this party to end,

Trina pov

We were in the salon getting our hair and nails done. I really felt like it takes forever to get things done. I was trying to catch Rye before she left. I wanted laugh when she opened her door and jumped back when she saw me. I really didn't need her help anymore. But I needed her close so she wouldn't go tell anyone what I have planned. I do have the potion, but I do plan on taking her to the house, I plan on torturing her until she rejects the king. But when I leave her there. I plan on showing her my tapes as well. I know it's a cold thing to do. I really do. But how else is she going to get the picture that he belongs to me and only me. I had heard someone was coming after her. But what happens if they change their mind, I can't chance that at all. There could be problems and then what. They could get themselves killed or worse he could go back to wherever they came from, then what. Nope, not going to chance that at all. I wanted a full set and I wanted them just a light pink. I usually like my nails bright red. But tonight I didn't need people to know who I am at first. Once she is some place stripped-down and not able to move from the wolfsbane, I'll come back to the party wearing her mask, I won't take it off until the party is done for the night. He will wonder where she is for a while. But once the fuild kicks in he won't worry about her anymore. He will only want me and only me. Once I was caring his pup. I will let her go. Then it will be too late. Much to late. He won't have any choice but to keep me as his queen, he will have no excuse for anything. Of course he will wonder how it happened. But she would be so brain washed into thinking we been having s*x all this time. The videos will prove it all.

"You know this is never going to work right? My wolf had said."

"Yes it will. Trust me it will, it's just a matter of time now."

"Suits yourself. But I'm not going down with you. I'm not dying because your doing something stupid."

"Girl will you shut up. Your not going to die. Everything is going to work out."

I didn't hear anything else from her. She has been real quite lately, she usually talks my ear off. But lately she hasn't, I guess she is just waiting for me to get everything ready and see if it's going to work out. You see it is. I have everything in order I have a plan for everything

Including miss Rye over there getting her hair done now. If she gets in my way she will go down hard.

Rye pov

I saw Trina looking over at me. I nodded and smiled at her. I knew she was brewing up something, I bet she even has plans for me if I get in the way. But she won't even know what hit her because I will get that potion from her some how I will get it. And she won't even know. I asked the lady to have curls on the side with the back hanging with the top with a slight bun on top. She did what I had asked her and even did my make up. I liked what she did with my eyeshadows, it was a light eye shadow with a dash of pink on the eyelids. The eyeliner was black but not to much and she made it were it wouldn't smear at all. My nails were a perfect shade of purple since my dress was a light purple off the shoulder dress. It was simple but very beautiful. I had a mask with peacock feathers on the side. I watched as Trina got her hair done. She had her hair curled and laying over her shoulders. She bad diamond clips clipping bet hair. And the last hairsprayed it so it would stay in place. Trust as me much hair spray they put in that girls head nothing will move that hair. They did a smoke eye look on her eyes. With a brown eyeliner since her hair was brown. The eyiner brought out her green eyes. She looked very beautiful. When we drive home. I'm going to need to drive with the windows up so the air won't mess up our hair. When we where done being made up. Both ladies gave up samples of the make up that they used on us. They told us how to apply it just in case we needed to freshen up. We both said thank you so much. We both paid our bill and left.

We got into the car and drove off. We drove with the windows up. I did t pay six hundreds dollars just to get my hair messed up. I would be pissed with all this work that had been done to my hair. I looked at the time and it was only two pm. Damn the time flew by when your having fun. Plus the after boom traffic. We knew were the traffic was coming from. The packs were on theor way to the hotel to get their rooms for the night. It was around four when we finally made it back home. We decided to stop and order nuggets and something to drink. We ate in the way home. I told Trina I will see her soon. Since she was riding with me and with a few girls as well. I made it back into my house without her even asking if I was going to help her. Maybe she had changed her mind. But knowing her. She's just busy brewing up something more dramatic,

I was tired. So I decided to lay down on the couch. A small nap wouldn't hurt. I set the alarm for six. That will give me enough time to finish getting ready, maybe even freshen up. If I am to find my mate tonight, I want to look my best, I want hm to look at only me and to think I am the only one in the room.

The Dark Mountain wolf pack

I was so sick of going to these parties. I knew I needed to find my luna but damn it has bee. Six long years since my father gave me the alpha title and stepped down. Yeah I have had my fun with these ladies. But I am getting really bored with them. All they talk about it being luna and ruling the back beside me. They never say they want to help. They always say rule beside me. That's how know my mate is not in this pack. She must be somewhere. Maybe in another state or country. I can't leave the pack to go find her. So if one of the girls don't find their mate tonight ill choose them. But I will not choose anyone from this pack. Goddess knows what will rip it apart and ruin what my dad and mom built together. I will never met that happened. They had worked so hard to get it were it is, when I took over. I made it stronger and bigger. Now I have to find my mate to make it even better. And tonight if I do not find one. I will chose one. I heard a knock on my bedroom door. I already knew who it was it was my mother.

I hurried to put my pants and shirt on.the. Went over to the door to answer it.

"Hey mom, what are you doing here. I thought hoi and dad was just going to relax today."

"We are honey. But I wanted to come to see you to wish you luck on finding your luna tonight. I know we talked about. If you hadn't found her at this party you will pick a chosen mate. I hope you will pick well my son." I looked at my beautiful mother. She had shoulder length brown hair. Her eyes were a pretty hazel color. She stood about 5.4 she was wearing jeans in a. Button up red shirt. When my father foudb out they were mates she was a warrior at the time. My dad told me all about it. She was so nervous but she got the hang if being luna.

" Mom, I promise, when I do pick a chosen mate. I will be really careful. I don't want to make a mistake and end up picking the wrong one,"

"Very good son, and don't forget to chosen your beta, gamma and the delta it's going to be hard since you have good friends that know about this pack. But I'm sure you will pick well. I'll leave so you can finish getting ready.," she hugged and kissed my cheek. Wished me luck and headed out to go to dad. I swear I love my parents they always encourage me on things that I need encouraged on. I shut the door and took off my clothes to take a shower. Dried off and walked out of the bathroom with a towel around my waist, I should had locked the door. But when I walked into the bedroom Shelly was in there sitting on the bed waiting for me. s**t what the hell does she want now.
