Chapter 14.

Tabby pov.

I was hoping that the asshole would had changed his mind about coming after Mollie but nope he got himself killed and now the one that killed him is coming after her. This is stupid. Who the hell wants her and why. I shook my head and sighed. Mollie looked over at me as she chewed her food.

"Alright what's up. You have been mind linking each other for ten minutes now. So what do you know that I need to know? And I swear it better not be bad news." We both looked at each other then back at her.

"I'm sorry Mollie but it is bad news. Well it's a little bit of both good and bad. The good news is that Nile is dead. The bad news is that the one that killed him is now coming after you." Jennie had said. And now we need to get going so we can talk to Erick about this."

"Wait, hold on. This is my life. He is after not Ericks. Why the hell do you have to go to him every single time. Just because I'm his mate does not mean I am weak. I don't need saving. I need to figure out how to handle this without him having to worry about protecting me all the damn time. I was on my own for a very long time. Even when I was with Ryan, I was on my own because he never worked for too long. I had to pay the bills, clean cook wash the clothes and buy the damn food, and half the time he just ate what he wanted and never left me anything so I had to eat fast food. I trained in the gym every single damn time. I know how to fight and how to protect myself, So let's get going and let's go train. Does Erick have a gym in that damn castle? All I've seen was rooms and stuff. Is there any room that he's been hiding from me?"

Again we both looked at each other.

"Yeah there rooms we have a dungeon and gyms we also have a room for us if we ever want to come love there. Come on. Let's go and we will show you. If he has anything to say about it. I'll tell him to shut up," we paid for our half eaten meal and headed back home. While I was driving I kept thinking to myself, how much does this girl know? Does she really know how to fight? Does she really know how to protect herself from danger? Yeah she lived in the human world most of her life. But this isn't the human world anymore, this is the supernatural, we will see how much she knows when we get there.

Mollie pov

All through lunch I had a gut feeling something was wrong. Their eyes keep clouding over. I knew they were talking to each other about something I just didn't know what it was. Until I spoke up and they told me. Me what was going on. Sighing I knew it was something to do about me. Why does it always have to be me for crying out loud. I am a nobody, We made it back to the castle. First things first. I wanted to see the dungeon. They both looked at me really weird but they took me to a steel door. We all had to force it open. I could smell something really badly. While we walked down the steps. I could hear crying and screaming. I could smell death, blood and I saw rats running across the floor. I could smell something like spoiled milk and rotten eggs. I felt like I was going to gag. What the hell was this place?

"Alright, I think I've had enough of this place. Why are they crying and screaming"

They are crying because they want out. The screaming is because they are being tortured for answers. Those are rogues. They come onto our land to try and steal and kill for others." I nodded and hurried back upstairs. The smell was so much I was gagging on the way back up, we walked back upstairs to were the other rooms and areas were at. We opened two double doors and I saw the gym with my huge eyes. I felt like I was a kid in a candy store, punching bags. An area where you can run and also a boxing area. Weights. And so much more. There were also dummy's where you could hit and they would fly back and come forward. Thank goddess I was wearing shorts.

Come on, let's do some laps. We begin our warmups then begin to run laps. Once I knew I was ready we stopped.

"Aright, so who wants to get into the ring with me first. No one said a word I saw Tabby get in first. I nodded and got in with her,"

"Alright girl. I want you to show me what you got. I'm going to throw some punches and hits. And I want you to block them and after a while I want you to start hitting back. We are going to fight so want to see what you have." Tabby had said.

"Alright let's do this." At first she was being easy with me not hitting hard but after a while her hits started to get harder and faster, Damn she could hit hard. I started hitting and kicking back and even flipped her over a few times. I flipped over her and kicked her down on the mat. She in return did the same to me, we kept at it for awhile until we heard a loud voice booming in the room.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" We jumped a mile high, we turned and saw Erick standing in the middle of the gym with his arms crossed with an angry look on his face.

"Are either of you going to answer me? I asked what the hell are you doing? You are both bloody and beaten to a pulp. Are you trying to kill each other?" We started laughing. He looked so worried and mad at the same time. I jumped out of the ring and walked over to him, reaching up and I kissed his cheek.

"Lighten up Erick, Tabby just wanted to see what I could do. Besides you know some dumbass is coming to try and take me back with him. I'm not going to sit around and hide. I'm not weak and you can't always protect me Erick."

"I.might not be able to protect you all the damn time. But I can try, I know you're not weak. But damn do you have to fight like this look how you look Mollie."

"I don't care how I look, Erick chill the hell out will you. I needed to train and I will train as many times as I want.

I mean what happens if you're not here one day and the castle gets attacked. I'm not going to hide honey. I have to protect my family too." I knew I shouldn't be mean to him. But it seems it's the only way he will understand that I just can't sit around and wait to be killed, I won't hide. I need to help others as well. I just hope he understands how I feel about things like things. I just can't hide every time someone is out to get me. I can't run either. I just hope he will understand soon enough.
