"Can you stay for another night?" si Papa sa akin.
"I need to be back tomorrow, Papa." I said, while drinking my cup of tea.
He took a deep breath and stand in beside me. Natahimik kaming dalawa at sabay kaming nakatitig sa madilim na langit.
Luckily, tonight the sky was at peace after a lot of showers. Nakapagtataka nga, dahil ang daming bituin sa kalangitan ngayon.
"I was just wondering if you could join me tomorrow? Let's play golf, son," he smiled, and winked at me.
I pressed my lips together and my brows lifted. Tumingala ulit ako sa madilim na langit, at gumaan ang pakiramdam ko dahil sa kinang ng mga bitiun dito.
"Okay. . . I may as well take a day off," tipid na sagot ko. Gumuhit agad ang ngiti sa mukha ng ama ko.
"That's good. . ." he said, and drank his hot tea.
