Amanda stood outside Mia's door knocking expectantly for Mia to step out of her room. She had slept in front of Mia's room door expecting her to come out of her room at least once so she could see her.
Amanda was losing her cool with every passing minute. It took a lot of restraining for her not to break down the door or follow the window to see her daughter. She knocked at the door not knowing that no one was present in the room.
She knocked for some minutes, when she got no response she went on with her daily morning routine; cleaning and preparing food
Grandma Felicia and Amanda had their breakfast in silence. Amanda ate so slow that she ended up eating a very cold meal. Grandma Felicia ate her food disregarding Amanda's moodiness but looks at her every now and then.
