Oscar sounded weak and in pain. Mia froze for about a minute with her phone on her right ear. She momentarily could feel the pain in his voice.
“Mi... Mia are you there?" Oscar asked
He sounded as though something was restricting him from speaking. Xan stared at Mia expectantly. Mia ignored his gestures to tell him what Oscar was saying.
“What happened, Oscar?" Mia asked
“I... I have n... no idea" Oscar said
“Where..."
“I... I..."
Before Oscar could speak properly, the call ended and Mia slowly brought down her hand.
“He is not okay," Mia said
“Where is he?" Xan asked
“I think at home," Mia said and began moving towards the exit
“Mia wait" Xan yelled and Mia halts
