She was back in the vision, only this time when the sickness came, she danced among them. The stars cried out as the Evil One devoured them alive.
"No! Máthair!" [56] A man's voice cried out in terror.
Ninsianna sat upright, still clutching her covers.

The shadows moved, just like they had in the dream.
"Great Mother!" she squeaked. "Protect me from the dark!"
