Lieutenant Apausha stared out at the colorful florescent streaks which flashed by the SMM Peykaap like an aurora borealis, absent-mindedly twisting his tail around the base of his seat. It never ceased to amaze him, in the emptiness of hyperspace, that what flashed by were hundreds of planetoids and stars.
A noise behind him caused him to look up. A massive lizard blocked the door to the cockpit with his corpulent frame, made all the more obtrusive by virtue of his garish purple robe.
