White knuckles gripped the steering wheel as Chelsea headed down the street that led to her parents’ house. It had just been about two weeks since she’d spoken to Heath, and now it was time to tell her parents. She needed the prenatal care her father’s insurance would afford her, but in order to get it, she’d have to talk to them. Otherwise, they’d want to know what she was doing at the doctor’s office. She usually only saw that kind of doctor once a year. She’d be seeing this one every month or more for the foreseeable future. She was nervous.
