A week had passed and Koda was finding his way around the palace. Lilly is busy most days, conferring with the king and doing special readings for a select few. Koda was busy learning what to do as a Royal Beta. He and Creighton had become close friends. After an awkward moment when Creighton put in his resignation, which the king refused, and apologized profusely to Abigail, in front of her very protective mates, everything became routine. Koda trained in the mornings, checked and marked the perimeter of the palace borders, and was introduced to a number of high-ranked officials.
