Flynn and Tanya were a few minutes late to the gaming session, but no one seemed to notice or care. Tanya was doing a very good job of keeping her cool. She admitted, however, that she may need to take Flynn’s advice and duck into the bathroom at some point, especially with him there.
Once everyone was ready, Matt straightened up in his chair and began. “All right, guys, the day is finally here. After weeks of traveling, battling, and scrounging, you arrive at the gate to the ruins. As the Shigohm in the cult said, the entire structure is covered in thick vines. Through the gaps in the dense leaves you can see the defensive thorns, the smallest of which are the size of human teeth. Only the gate is left uncovered, the vines literally twisting around one another to avoid touching it.”
