CHAPTER FOUR.

ADONIS……

The moment I set my eyes on her, I could feel a kind of sensation surge through my body. She was just a child but a child with guts, she was fearless and that could have been her superpower if she was not dealing with someone like me. I didn’t mind breaking her, not like she or her parents would be able to do anything.

Standing there with only a thin nightwear standing in the way of my eyes and her nakedness, I couldn’t help but smirk. If only she knew.

Finding out she was a wolf almost two years ago and hiding it from her parents was truly extreme, she was indeed extraordinary but that was not part of my worries now. I was here for Hawkings to make his own bargain visible and he was being skeptical about it which made my hands itchy to rip his heart right out of his chest but I didn’t want to. At least, not now.

“Get ready and go to the midnight clan with me” I repeated myself and the lady nodded her head in the negative which was already getting annoying. Were the ladies of England and Hawkings family that stubborn?”

“She is only but a child, master Adonis” her mother chipped in and I rolled my eyes to the back of my head, she was being too talkative. I was giving them the grace of a last chance but they were taking it for granted, I was going make their lives miserable if they dared to annoy mw.

I didn’t become a premordial for nothing, I was the strongest and I was quite aware of that fact.

Taking slow strides towards her father, I grabbed him by the neck and i could see his wife and his daughter flinch in fear.

“Now get dressed and come with me” I ordered again.

“But I am supposed to wait here, I am supposed to wait for my mate to come right, mother?” I could see real confusion in her eyes and it annoyed me the more. Did she think I was here to c***k jokes and laugh with the family?

“Get dressed, Charlotte” her mother finally ordered and her eyes went misty so fast.

“Moth….”

“Get dressed” the father also ordered and she turned on her heel and ran back towards the stairs.

The moment she was out of sight, I left of the man and walked back to the chair before lowering myself on it again.

“Please don’t hurt our little girl, she is just seventeen” the old lady contibued to beg and it felt like i should tear her apart and feed her to my pack, how dare she tell me what to do?

“It all depends on my mood and how she behaves”

After talking, I leaned back on the sofa and closed my eyes, everything was boring.

I could hear both husband and wife talking in hushed tones and trying to get who would beg me to let their daughter go.

By the moon goddess, I was going to rip the first person his or her mouth. I promise to rip them apart.

A few minutes later, I heard the clicking of someone’s heels on the marble floor and I opened my eyes to behold the women in front of me.

She was all dressed up now and she looked different from the lady I saw earlier. This time she looked like a princess, maybe it was because of the heavy dress on her body or the makeup on her face. I just knew there was something different about her.

“I am ready, can you let my father go now?”

“Who told you that you can make bargains with me?” I sneered as I stood up, “I make the decisions around here, do you hear me?” I grabbed her by the arm and yanked her closer, “so you hear me?” I whispered to her again and she nodded in fear which made the smirk on my lips to return.

“Now, on our way”

With that I made my way out of the house, I was already feeling suffocated standing in the midst of such a weak pack.

I didn’t know for how long I waited near my four wheeled machine until I saw her coming towards me with her parents.

Leaning lazily on the body of my automobile, I used that opportunity to study the lady who was walking towards me.

She must be so uncomfortable in those heavy apparels I must say.

“Until when can I stay with you?” The lady asked me and the smirk on my face intensified.

“You will automatically become a member of my pack, Charlotte” i replied, “you are an omega after all, you can be of help to the community”

“What is the work of an omega?”

“What do you think?” I asked with a wink, “didn’t your parents tell you what you are?”

“Mother?”

“You don’t need to know Charlotte, you will be home soon”

“You can not be so sure about that” i hissed before opening the door, “we should get going, we have a long journey ahead”

Not bothering to wait for their response, I entered into my vehicle and from the rear mirror I could see them exchanging some pleasantries and even hugs which annoyed me.

After a while, she entered the vehicle barouche and went on our way.

For a few minutes, she was silent while I kept studying her, I wanted to know why something felt different about her. It was like we were accustomed but still not.

“An omega is the weakest member of the pack, are you up for that?” I finally spoke up and I saw her shifting uneasily on the space beside me.

“Why? What is my work then”

“Nothing comes easy in life Charlotte, you are going to a place where you will be hurt beyond repair, are you willing to take the risk?”

Her forehead creased into a frown as she turned her head towards me,

“What do you mean?”

“You are not going to get the nice me when we get to our destination Charlotte, don’t even think about it”

Her eyes continued to linger on me but I didn’t care, my aim right now was to make her taste my wrath.

“Have you found your mate?” She asked and I froze.
